I remember as a kid reading the label on a box of .22LR and seeing the warning that the bullet could travel a mile. It was hard for my young mind to fathom.

I was walking one time and heard 7 or 8 of those whizzing over my head and hitting the dirt behind me. Called the cops and they didn't even write a warning because they had no proof. Just talked to the kids shooting and took their word over mine

I would of definitely pulled my boat up to shore and take care of buzz.

I was walking in the woods after fly fishing one day and the leaves around me did a dance accompanied by the crack of a bullet. I didn't recognize it until the second time, when I hit the ground and crawled away. Yes, a couple was camped nearby, drunk, and shooting at a target hanging in branches from a tree.

Mabey they were trying to just get ya'll out of there favorite fishing spot. Lol. And I bet it worked. 😂

I know this is a long time since this posted but I just saw it. I had a friend with 2 other friends riding together to another friends funeral. They were traveling through a country neighborhood when the driver heard a noise of something hitting the glass of the back window. When they looked back the friend in the back seat had been hit by a stray bullet. It was just below his skull. He died a few days later. There never was any info of the shooter. No one around the neighborhood came forward saying they had been shooting that day!! Had the shooter not been shooting towards the road our friend might still be alive!!!
