Thank You! Bless you for teaching this. Woman power! 😊😃 A widow here learning to do all this. I could not have done it without you. Other videos didn't help. Thanks so much! I got it done. At least the parts I have. Now I need to figure how to hook up to smaller pipe, or just longer, or hose to take it outside.

We just successfully installed a new kitchen sink, thanks to this excellent video. So clear, so concise. We were stumped about how to fit an unthreaded pipe to a threaded pipe until we watched this tutorial. Also LOVE that you’re plumbing with the help of your little one. Much respect!

Thanks for taking the time to make this you do make things sound very simple. It really isn't hard and watching your hands grab the pieces makes us want to do the same.

Thank you! My dad’s a retired plumber, so he’s taught me some stuff over the years and has given me many tools. This video and his text guidance helped me to remove a garbage disposal and replace with pipes. I only had a single sink to replumb, but your tips were helpful and gave me the confidence to tackle this task and save my senior mom hundreds of bucks 😉

Hate to be that guy but this isn't a self watering system, it's just a hydroponic system. Firstly, if the roots eventually reach down into the bottle when you're no longer waterering from above, your soil won't get wet and the roots will bypass all the nutrients in the soil. You may as well for go all the soil and simply have a hydroponic system. The idea of 'wicking' is to slow release the water into the soil so that the plant constantly uses the water and still gets nutrients from the soil. It's the capillary action that you want with a wick that feeds the soil/roots without water logging the lower half of the container. Your system will work amazingly with a rope wick coming out from where you drilled the holes

Very nice demo tutorial. Any suggestion on what brand is best? As anytime I went cheap with anything to do with water and pipe, I end up spending a lot more! Liked and Subscribed. Way to go

Please don't use tap water. Use filtered or distilled. Otherwise you'll get harmful minerals You sound like you need a humidifier. All the time 😂

This was awesome and answered all my questions without any useless blather. I was able to replace a leaking cracked and corroded slip nut and all the tailpiece nuts and washers without damaging the rest of my really old (all metal) sink plumbing from this video. Everything has remained dry as a bone for the last few days so it looks like I did it right! I used a small wire brush to clean the grungy threads and was careful not to overtighten the nuts (just 1/4 turn after finger tight). Thank you!

Mine has never worked. It was purchased from Walgreens and it was the last one there, so we couldn't exchange it. The light comes on and it gets a little warm near the bottom scent vent as you mentioned. We both thought we were crazy that we couldn't get it to work but I guess it's a defect. We have no receipt so I guess I will call the 800 number for help.

hey thanks for making this video! I started out trying to unblock my kitchen sink , only to find two leaks underneath... headed for utube for help. after an hour of watching vids I finally found yours now I have fixed two leaks and unblocked the whole thing. PLUS now I know why and how it all works and could fix or amend it in a heartbeat. Thank you so much ❤
