Awesome!! Best tutorials . Most plumbing tutorials like these aren't as detail and you can't see what's actually going on. I own a 30 year home and must change out these parts all over the house. Because of your tutorials I can get these projects done in no time. Very helpful. Thanks for sharing

Oh man, I had the same problem with the same drain pipe, I thought it was a threaded top part and I didn't know how to get a grip on it. So when I saw you brute forcing and mangling it I started to do that with a pair of pliers and it actually popped off without me having to mangle it. I watched 10 other videos to try and solve this and yours was the only one that showed the exact same copper pipe and goofy top lip that doesn't just unscrew. I'm glad I stumbled onto you video. I was thinking I was going to have to call a plumber in to get that piece out. Thank you for sharing your expertise.

Exactly what I needed to see...many thanks... I always prefer the repairs explained by ladies...my experience level is generally the same and they are always much clearer...

I cracked the basin of my pedestal sink soaking something in boiling water last weekend. I got a new basin from HD for $70, and spent another $23 on various hardware. I mangled the chrome sink drain the same way you did removing it (because I didn't know it was threaded on). I'll be using the same fixtures in the new basin and replacing the mangled drain, various washer's, and the P trap nut. I might have to change the water supply lines because the new sink sits a little lower, and the old lines were solid pieces of tubing, not the flexible one's like yours. I hate all things that are plumbing. I know what to do, it's just that I hate doing it. It was fun watching a non-plumber person like yourself walk through it, and made me realize everything is going to be alright. Thanks again for the great video!

You did an amazing job with this sink...I hope that I never have to change anything with my pedestal sink because of the awkward positioning!...I am saving your video though...thank you for taking the time to record and share the step by step process!

Removing the old faucet is NO JOKE!!! I had my pedestal sink completely disassembled and on the ground in my garage and it was still a task.

There’s a few things that I could point out that would be helpful for the future. Starting with your hot and cold shut off’s, they should be exercised every six months from the day they were installed. When you were turning off your shut off’s, they started to leak because the gaskets aren’t maintained properly. To avoid future problems you should of had replaced the gaskets inside your shut off’s or just replace the shut off’s and maintain them properly. Also, those hot and cold flex hoses should be replaced as well, that helps ensure that you won’t have any possible leaks when connecting to the new faucet. If you had to go through all the trouble of removing the sink from the wall in the first place then you might as well put back as much brand new material, to avoid future problems and continuous work. There’s one thing I’ve learned about construction is that everything, affects everything.

Nice job! You give inspiration that I can actually do it lol. Did you need to use anything to attach the sink back to the wall? Do you simply yank it from the wall in the beginning?
