I ordered a $15 533 Mini Bugout clone from Aliexpress. I am astounded by the quality. No way I'd pay $280 for the 'real' thing.

I have a smkw m4 bugout. Has a lot of blade blade. Have you found some good ways to take blade play out. Knife has not been opened, oiled or anything so far.

Sometimes I have taken the pivot out, cleaned the blade/washers and then re-assembled to get the play out.

I dyed the scales on my bug out I won from you. I went red with them. They turned out fantastic. I used dish soap in mine instead of vinegar and got a super strong color.

Thank you for an excellent video on scale dying. Is there a specific reason you faced the finished side of the scale on the skewer? I vote Blue.

You’re Welcome! I found putting the scales backwards against each other on the skewer helps keep from them sticking together and trapping dye on the inside of the scales.

I use knives all day long at work and have really appreciated the quickness and ease of an OTF. The Shootout and the AKC extreme evo are my favorite knives. Still love a good folder but hardly ever carry one anymore.

I have used the buck lifetime warranty. On four different buck knives three folders and one fixed blade . The warranty department is absolutely phenomenal on every level. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WITH NO COMPLAINTS. 💯🇺🇸

I've dyed jade G10 before. It takes quite a bit of time for that material to soak. The Grivory is much quicker. Blue is best. 😊

Thank you. I followed your process with some $5 Walmart clones with Storm Trooper scales. They turned out great. I used a short section of chopstick for pivot alignment.

Benchmade has payment plans available to use so you don't have to pay the whole thing up front. I do believe they send the knife two days after your first payment goes through. Hopefully this helps you get one.
