Looks very good, would it be better to add vegetable/chicken stock rather than plain water? Was the rice cooked till it was mushy or normally done? For some unknown reason my mind jumped to the force meat being used to stuff cabbage leaves and cooked the same way.

Errrr those are fritters not cutlets! still a simple tasty recipe, we have made this acouple of times now. Last time i used chickpea flour as we where out of potato stach and added some mild curry powder to the fritter mix to change it up abit. Added some curry powder to the sauce while cooking off the mushrooms to give the powder time to bloom. A simple good value recipe, that can be adapted in so many directions.
