Having the same issue with companies reaching out to me for reviews. I'm like you. Ethics is very important to me as well. I just can't endorse something without believing in it. Thanks for that insight. Any other advice would be appreciated. I'm new to this game.

I have been following along since your accident. I am amazed at how well you are handling all of this! I have always been very able bodied and I’m not sure I would be anywhere near as easy going and as understanding as you have been. I would be struggling with all of this. It’s honestly sometimes hard to watch. You are mentally strong. I always wish you nothing but the best!

Well Don, sorry for what you going through, BUT glad you are able to go through it and still have a reasonable life after what happened. Looking forward to how you deal with or compensate during the adjusting period. I've got a feeling you'll be back to abnormal really soon!!!!!

I love the way you look for word to say the carpuride isn’t a huge POS that’s about all I can say. If someone comments I want the free crapuride on five different videos of mine I will ship them the one I have in my garage for free.

I spent a lot of time in hospitals and clinics as a kid with my mum working as a doctor. I got to meet many patients including people who had lost limbs in all kinds of accidents. I remember being so impressed by what prosthetics could do that I wanted a career making them. Things changed as I grew older and I became a lumberjack. But to this day I’m still fascinated by the technical side of prosthetics and the different advancements. Thanks for the updates. Best wishes.

I'm bad about wanting to make stuff myself. It's a redneck ingenuity arrogance. "$40! Hell, there can't be $20 worth of materials and I already have half of that stuff in the shop." I started watching this thinking it was odd that a medical professional would show the techniques for what would be a How To KZbin video for me. The process is basically what I would have guessed with a lot more details than I'd have guessed and no doubt ten times more important details that weren't even hinted at in this video. If I needed a triple bypass surgery, I wouldn't watch a video of it and then try to do it myself. This is similar to that. I might be tempted to make a semi-functional Terminator prosthesis for an elaborate Halloween costume, but that's about it. Gerald clearly knows his craft and he was a very nice guy to allow you to make this KZbin content. That doesn't mean I wouldn't make prosthesis accessories. I'm thinking a cup holder (for the laughs) and a holster for reals. Hit me up. Have 3D printer. Will print.

I'm watching with keen interest, hoping to see you back on a bike soon. From the progress I've seen so far, I say it won't be long. Adventure bikers are a rare breed, who will tackle almost any challenge to stay in the saddle. 👍 By the way, I say you are in good hands with the fellow taking the measurements and making the prosthetic leg. He looks like he has done this a time or two.

@@MotoGiant what I have seen in these video series is still inspiring to all of us. As a physician, I can tell you that your reaction to bad news, serious life changing events and ongoing uplifting positive disposition is uncommon. People respond in different ways, but you truly stand out, it is clearly sincere. Cheers.
