Not everyone buys the pedestal. They aren’t cheap, but it gives you a place to keep your liquids and the machine is higher so you don’t need to bend over as far when you are loading and unloading clothes.

My transmission (2008 Sable) made a huge clunk when accelerating too fast. It turned out to be the transmission mount that was completely gone.

It might. Are yours clicking too? They actuators direct the air ( I've understood it so through experience with that problem). In my case, my driver side doesn't get hot air.

*Overall 5 stars as it's exactly what we wanted,🧼 **allabout.wiki/SharkRotator** in terms of cleaning power. Suction is as good as all the reviews state. When we first got it, I first vacuumed with the existing vacuum and then with this, the additional fine dirt that was in the Shark Rotator was gross and convinced me we needed this. We have medium length carpet and a terrier - no issues, I do imagine plush carpets would not work well with this. Also a little too powerful for most bathroom rugs. Great for area **rugs. One** con is the hose, it's great for reaching far away places (ceiling), but is frustrating and hard to use if you're within arm's distance (think couch and floorboards). This is due to the design of the hose having this long metal rod for extension. Also, I haven't figured out how to get the hose back together quickly as it's supposed to nest into the base of the vacuum. This piece might just be user error though.Canister is just like all others, still have to take out the middle insert to get all the dirt out. I often make a mess around the trash as I'm trying to empty it, but the suction picks that right back up.*

Just think..............when they designed that, the little side panels ......they could have made them snap in so you could remove them if needed, without disssasymbling the unit.

Very easy to remove the intake manifold. Takes very little time or effort or skill to do it. Just did it on my '08 T-Rex. All of my plugs are brand new and good. Replaced the coils too. Car "runs" great. But still have clunky transmission from time to time - at random. Usually under Load. Or romping on the throttle hard - still at random. Shift your transmission down into L and see what happens. If the clunkiness gets really bad - there's your confirmation it is transmission related. That's what mine is doing (fluid is new and level is correct too.) Fortunately I have a good transmission mechanic who I trust. NGK plugs are fine. But yes the gap will get larger and larger over the years of use. And the initial gapping will be relative to what spark plug brand/type you are using as well. Many NGK plugs require .040-.044" for the T-Rex. But Motorcraft and others might require larger gap. Replace them every 50,000 miles. Done. NGK is a very good plug. It's all we use in high performance motocross bikes. I'm quite certain a meh 265hp Taurus can handle them as well.

I was having a similar issue that I thought was my transmission. I ended up replacing spark plugs, breaking down my air intake and cleaning it. I also used Seafoam cleaner in the engine.... I put it all back together and it's been running like a champ ever since. That was almost 3 years ago. No more issues....

I have the same issue @85000 mile. This is because FORD stupid user manual, which suggests to change the plugs at 100k miles. But after taking the plugs out, it has a very big gap, which indicates that the plugs is overdue for a long time. I do not know the logic on Ford engineer's mind to change the plugs at 100k. In comparison, Porsche Cayenne's basic V6 normal engine (none turbo) requires plug change at 40k miles. Besides, remember to change coil on plug at the same time to change plugs. My taurus x drops MPG after plug change. So, I did all steps again to change coils, then everything is back to normal. The original coils were abused due to work with original wide gap plugs for a long time. If changing plugs earlier, coil should live much longer. Autolite Plugs is dirty cheap. PLugs shall be changed every 50-60k.

@@murlecampbell8360 lol, I'm back five years later to say thank you! My car has finally reached about 85k miles and I've had a few of those "clunks" that feel like the transmission is jerking. Pretty sure I need plugs. Seems like it's a common issue with these. They don't make it to the 105,000 miles or whatever Ford says to change plugs at.

Is the NGK Iridium plugs? The Ford OEM ones are only Platinum. I used NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs for my 2006 Fusion SEL V6, and the car has been running perfectly for years. I know it is a different car. I always think Denso and NGK are good. My Toyota Camry calls for Denso, after replacing Denso for my Camry, I used NGK on my Fusion.
