I can't find the references on Baker Creek you allude to, but I'll keep an eye out. In the meantime, you may want to check Hudson Valley. They have a lovely back story. From one woke gardener to another.

@@thepurplepumpkinpatch do you follow 'The Gardener's Workshop'? Lisa gives the best seed starting advice around. In one of her recent videos where she was in her cool flower grow room, she mentioned how warm it is in there. I was a little surprised by that. Anyways, she has been very helpful to me.

Bought my first house and planning out a goth garden - the previous owner planted several of these prior to selling (not for a goth garden, just by chance)! I’ll be adding the hollyhocks, buttons, and some tufts of black mondo grass 🖤

I love your plans - I , on the other hand want to grow annuals from seed more white or whitish flowers like astrantia, ami, dara and orlaya, also I want to try my hand at coleus and larkspur and lots of white cosmos

I must have a big pot of black petunias in my space every year. Last year I had a mixed pot of black with yellow stripes, and yellow stars, and yellow hoops 😍 I will definitely look for those bachelor buttons!

Just found your channel. Love your cottage style garden with lots of rocks and logs for natural borders. I’m in zone 6 also and have very similar style but sadly struggle with too much shade. My husband has been limbing up the trees lately which is helping some.

very clean and bright look I like the white and green with the purple it looks so much bigger. Very nice. I also changed alot of my black it showed every fingerprint, dust etc. Mistake I made was black appliances horrible.

I love the laundry in the kitchen.I totally like the two curtains much better. I think the 4 is way too much curtain. I think the two curtains give a cleaner, simply, neater look. The stackable saves space. I like the stackable for your closet . It saves space. I guess the 4 curtains might look different in person .? Good job on everything.

❤It! My parents always gave practical gifts that I was also so grateful to have them! As I turned older I was fortunate to return the favor in caring for them! My dad passed about 2 years ago and I miss him like crazy! My mom is still with me and I will continue to spoil her as much as possible! Parents are a blessing! So happy you are continuing to share your home with us! My favorite thing to do is to make something with what I already have! Living in a small house you learn to be extremely creative! This has taught me to always stay humble! Merry Christmas & Keep Sharing!♥️

Looks great! Personally, I totally vibe with the Golden Girls aesthetic! The wicker, the bold and tacky florals, pastels and earth tones - I think they make a versatile base for any room, that isn't bland and boring
