I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from Mirbag for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.

Lady you look lovely. Oil seems to be the main cause of locs retaining lint. I had to stop using it. I just use a little grease on my scalp and run it down the shaft when needed. I don’t get as much lint or heaviness in my locs.✌🏽

The back of my hair and the front of my hair isnt locking and it's a year over. The middle start locking immediately after 6months. I know the front and back of my hair is very soft and curly....so, that might be it. Sometimes I didnt reloc until after 6months and i wash my scalps after bonding my hair in rubber band BUT the front and back still loosen smh

Congratulations on yr 5!!! 4 yrs in now, can’t believe it. My locs have tested me like a bad kid! I learned less is more! I switched to interlocking and it changed my life!!! Highly recommend. Don’t even have to retwist monthly. I get it done just 3/4 times a yr. This is my 3rdddd set!! 😭 there’s no second chance lol. They look the same mostly, But I am lowkey happy I started over with more locs. But I know it’s my mind telling myself I am satisfied 😂

I started my Loc journey the day after my 40th Birthday 3-23-24 and it was the best decision I ever made, I feel free and I feel like I am finally my true authentic self. I am now already 8 months loc’d and the time flew by so fast. lol 😂 I’m so glad I didn’t go with my initial thought of wanting to get loc extensions. I love my own hair… and the journey has been great every step of the way.

I’ll give my 2 cents. I’ve always had issues with lint even as a kid with blue magic hair grease in my hair. I’m still on my first set of locs but I barely got through the first 6 months without combing them out because I had so much lint. I switched to interlocking, I don’t use gels anymore, and now my hair doesn’t attract much new lint. I still use castor oil but it’s much better

I've just made 3 years loc-ed, diy microlocs and I've learnt 1. Time is going to pass no matter what and 2. My locs are not like everybody elses, this is my 2nd set too and I'm sad that I start them earlier.... love the get up and go with them! Hope your family is doing well and I know that you're glad the end of the term is coming

Every time i dye my locs 3rv plum from clarion it always comes out way lighter than the color on the box and I can’t figure out why

This looks so good on you! Great idea. My hair is almost shoulder length and I have to wear polos everyday and my locs are always tucked in my collar and it annoys me.. so I definitely need to figure something out.
