@reginatolson1223 Do you currently have baby locs, or are you at least 1-2 years in? I started mines off like Dae with the two-strand twists and also have low-density hair. I started with like 42 locs but now have 38 locs. I had to combine some as a few seemed to be thinning at the time. I'm now 5 yrs in, and my locs are flourishing better than I thought they would. I think the reason is that I only retwist my hair like once a month while keeping my parts separated. They have thickened up as well as my roots, too (gotta have healthy roots or what's the point, right?) Just give your locs time and patience and very low tension! Our hair can't handle all the stress. Hope that helps! Sorry for the long comment.😅

I have decided to loc my hair. However before that decision l unfortunately decided to do a Keratin Treatment. I really hate how my hair look and feel with the keratin treatment so l have decided to wait 4-6 months to start my loc journey. Right now l am doing my research. I realize I dont want very long locs just shoulder length and healthy.
