I really enjoyed The Devotion of Suspect X. It is like a face off between a brilliant professor and talented detective who knew each other from school. I found out later that it is part of a series, so I will definitely continue. I loved the female pink panther vibes in the first Finlay Donovan .

Ohhh Devotion of suspect X and Honjin murders - I am obsessed with translated Japanese murder mystery! I thought Suspect X was excellent - after I read it had to get all of his books, Malice and Journey Under the Midnight Sun are my faves, a bit darker and twisty in the best way... I'm reading my best friend's exorcism at the moment, I think you've recommended before and it's sooooo good I'm converted

I loved The Dangers of Smoking in Bed! It's not horror, or really scary in my opinion, but they were super interesting stories with great characters and really well told! The ancient Magus bride is my FAVORITE manga series. I really hope you enjoy! The anime is beautiful too!

I really loved Just Like Home but I understand why people didn’t like it. The ending was very divisive. I also really loved The Devotion of Suspect X. It’s one of the few mystery/thrillers that have stuck with me. I usually forget them as soon as I read them and I read Devotion years ago and still remember it

I DNF'ed How to Sell a Haunted House because I just truly hated the characters. They were so unpleasant. I didn't read the end, but frankly I hope they had a bad time.
