Pleasingly, if you work in metric, I find the EEW6 bobbins weigh between 102g and 103g, which makes the maths very easy.

Question for you maurice; maybe I’m being dense or haven’t thought about it enough to consider the solution myself so I’ll ask. Is there a way to use the EEW 6.1 to rewind a bobbin? There’s a school of thought in spinning that one should rewind their bobbin back onto another bobbin before plying so that when you smooth the plies together during the process the smoothing is in the same direction as was applied when the singles were spun. Hope this makes sense I know it’s wordy. If you’ve already addressed in another YT a link or your say so would be much appreciated. Love my eew 6.1 thank you so much for all you do for this community!

There are many ways to do this. You can start with just using a lot of tension. This will add/remove a small amount of twist, but works reasonably well. Here's a video about a really good solution, but you need to get a few parts: kzbin.info/www/bejne/emWqe6dpeNWYZpI Here is a 3d printed solution for your drill: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKKppnyCrpaLqM0

To correct one point - Scale weight ( mass x gravity) doesn’t change with temperature - rather the load cell output is temperature dependant necessitating manual or auto correction for accuracy.

Love the idea of canvas bag. I’d add an outside pocket for extra parts. The new wheel looks hood too. I look forward to its launch. I own the nano now!

Ooh I like a bag, maybe longer handles to carry on the shoulders as others have said. If not too expensive to add, I think I'd like a flap to go over the top to keep clean and dry and magnet close that way.

For those asking about a version for the EEW 6. I'm going to watch and see how popular this is and if it's well received then I might make a new version for the EEW 6 with whatever suggestions people have. It's also possible someone else will make a version for the EEW 6 and if that happens then I probably won't need to do it. Whatever, happens I will give it at least several weeks to see what kind of feedback comes out of this one.

Love the idea of a bag. I agree with the other comments about a larger and taller size for the 6.1. I think a fold over flap with closure or a zipper would be great too. I would pay more for a bag that fully closed.

If you make it snug, put a pocket on the outside for accessories. I have the Nano EEW and I don't like how it bounces around in the bag which could break pieces while traveling.

This channel is his project progress of his product for spinners of yarn. But you are right, he need to make more diffusion of his web store and make better tittle of his videos to that the clients and other people understand what is about But in his bio you can find all the blogs aND website of his products. For what I can tell he showing how his design for the foldable electric spinner is going and testing if the injection resistance works as expected

I'm working on it in the background, but it has involved a lot more research than I expected. That is taking up more time than expected so I'm releasing some other products first which will end up delaying it even more. That said I do eventually plan to do it as long as I can get two of the critical features working well (variable double drive system, and level winding system). Some of the features on this like some of the electronics for the RPM display and folding mechanism have actually come from the research I've done on the EEW Pro.

A removable insert for the bottom of the bag would be helpful and either a longer strap for over the shoulder carrying or a few grommets to add our own straps. This looks great, though!

I have rheumatoid arthritis and sometimes my hands just hurt too much to be able to carry things - even light eSpinners. So I would really love the option of a shoulder strap. I like the padded looking one you have but maybe if you could add rings or something at the sides so that we can clip on a shoulder strap - or make it an extra option since not everyone would want it. Thanks -

Love this idea because I have been searching for something to carry my EEW 6.1 up and down the stairs. As I mainly use it in the house rather than “on the go”, I would like to see it closed more at the top to reduce dust settling. Two clasps might do the trick. I don’t feel it’s critical, though, and I like the other suggestions of a zippered pocket on the outside, and grommets or D-rings for the option to add longer straps.
