Just want to point out that the tube that enters the air filter box is glued to its fixing bracket during manufacture. That glued joint can be easily broken when flexing to remove the airbox. The tubes front facing end is only held by one bolt.. so I suggest removing the tube completely rather than trying to work the box off it. If the glued on fixing does get broken it is possible not to notice.. then the front of this air inlet tube can come out of the hole in the front member and drop down and become half obstructed by the upper cross member, reducing air intake and therefore performance at higher revs. Also, I would suggest running the engine to warm the oil before starting to drain. Be carefull if removing the airbox assembly completely from the top of the throttle body intake as anything dropping into the throttle body could have consequences. When 'Hand' tightening the oil filter make sure your hand and filter body are squeaky clean, or your tightening may not be sufficient. It's usually said, tighten to contact point then 1/3rd of a turn further. Hope this helps someone avoid any problems. 😊

Nice video - does the black paint on the inside make the headlight appear any less bright at all? Thanks
@BTR_REBUILDАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! No the black paint doesn’t effect the brightness as they’re projector headlights. The light is magnified through the lens and doesn’t rely on the reflective material inside the headlight like conventional headlights with the halogen bulbs

Did you use the old Solenoid from the bad pump? Didn't the new pump come with a new Solenoid and need to be pushed through the engine block to disconnect/ reconnect? I've got an N18- maybe yours differs? I'm stuck at this step.

Over watched this video on and off that last two days as I changed out the timing chain and all the other stuff from Detroit Tuned. Things I learned: the four bolts that hold the upper motor mount bottom bracket to the block may break. You can’t remove the timing chain and guides with the dipstick still in place. And finally, 15” diameter walnut logs work great as Jack stands when you can’t find your second pair. 😊

Sorry bud you can not do this, you need new bolt and use brake cleaner voor het doordraaien van de tandwielen op de kruk of nokkenas, er mag beslist geen olie tussen zitten, ook moet je alle tandwielen vervangen dus ook de vvt vanwege een nieuwe ketting ( chain) alleen op nieuwe tanden kan, Ook kun je de nokkenas bouten maar 1 x gebruiken zijn rekbouten en nog veel meer zoals de tipex witte stip op de nokkenas bout om de 90 graden te zien, en je moet een stapel stenen onder de krukasboutstang plaatsen zodat je normaal kracht kunt zetten
