I BOUGHT A VANDALISED CAR FROM COPART AND REPAIRED IT IN A WEEKEND!

This project I managed to complete in one weekend, plus a little on Monday as I the weather really kicked my ass. Hope you all enjoy this style of video!

Hi Mate good job on the Astra, you have put some work and effort in to the car. A good car that age of Astra my Dad bought one last year for £2000 with 86000 miles on the clock I think one of the last in this shape it's a 2010 10 plate same engine 1.6 and it's a good driver. I don't know where you are, but if that was for sale in Wrexham that will go between £1500 to £1800 may get up to £2000 for a low mileage like your's 78000, Good luck with the sale🚗👍

I’m in Barry, South Wales mate. I’ve stuck it up for £1500 no messages yet. The market down here is flooded with Bristol and Cardiff so sometimes tricky to sell some cars. Good to know though, I was hoping because of the mileage it would go quickly!

I liked the post and Im with you on the recycling and repairing front but old cars like this are now throw away items in a similar way of a toothbrush. Apart from the entertainment value I do wonder if these kind of projects are really worth it. All the best mate and good luck

There is a few quid in them, I will be honest not that much compared to some jobs I’ve done. But for a weekends worth of work, and where I’m not getting the overtime in work anymore it helps!

great video, for a lttle extra £, could have just called mobile windscreen Co, have replaced glass and kept original boot , no need for the extra labour n materials, but great work keep it up

Thank you mate, I found that this was the most cost effective way for me personally. The tape they used to seal up the back window peeled the paint off so I would’ve had to paint the tailgate and source the glass

The reason why it says display safe as the radio don't marry up with screen so you need a radio and married up screen

You should of taken the radio back mate and got money back with these you need to buy a stereo and screen to go with it

@reaper0374 yea mate could of got a stereo and b.i.d screen for 20 quid better looking than the two button small display or a upgrade nav or gid screen for a bit more money had so many astras good cars when running ok lol
