Just did the body mount bushings on my 2015. I went the cheap route and did it with MAP gas. I had a stray bottle with water to put out any fires as I went along. Heated those bolts well and they all let go. As some other videos have hinted, DO NOT use an impact driver. You run the risk of spinning that crown nut. Use good, ol' fashion arm strength and if the bolt is heated well, it will let go. My truck has lived in Texas all life long so rust was not an issue. If you do have some rust, perhaps that heat induction tool could help. Took me about 4hrs, stopping for beer breaks.

I'm waiting on my Skinner Low Profile pic rail. That Henry one is too high and messes up cheek weld. Don't like the high head position on a lever action rifle.

By the way, the extractor is on the bolt, and that loose piece that slides in the groove of the bolt and installs into the small hole in the receiver is the ejector. It needs to go in first before you slide the bolt back into the receiver.

Where does one start.... sooo many things were done wrong. Keep that cleaner and oil away from the wood stick and damn scope. A little gies a long way and should be applied to specific areas. Pleade for the love of Pete, look up the proper disassembly and reassembly before tearing your rifle apart. PS: check to see if that screw under side of the receiver in the trigger group was not missing or loose. That will cause feeding issues.

That screw underneath the receiver helps to hold the trigger group in. It slso can cause feeding issues if it is loose or missing.

Just wanted to say great video. Have built two urns and hadn't figured out how to engrave name/dates, but thanks to your video, I will manage to do this. Just found your channel last night, 11/6/24. Thanks again for the video and have subscribed. Will put this in the saved file.

Just did mine. If you do it from the top/inside, I used small auto on propane torch. Burn the loctite off threads. After you crack it with a cheater bar from underneath, they come out like butter. If it gets hard, heat it again. PITA but fast once you get the carpet up and heat bolts from above, just to liquify loctite/threadlocker. Pain removing rear seat, popping panels but went smooth once I got access.

Thank you for posting! Good job! I’ve always been leary that my screen would go out and would cost me a fortune to have a dealership replace it. My guess is that it would cost a minimum of $1000!

These rifles suck. I owned a 41. Mag marlin lever action and a .35. They both jam always. I will never by marlin anything. And the .35 rem round is a dud. Cant find ammo and if you do, you better have money. Junk if you ask me. The 336 sucks

This is by far the best video on Super Duty can mounts replacement on KZbin.it explains all of the options, even the Ford service manual, and shows most of them being tried. Of course, every truck will be different depending on its age and concision, but this video is the one I would recommend for getting the best info. Well done!

Good vid, those panel retainer clips will usually come out with your fingernails. not sure about Honda, but the Toyota ones even have a recessed area on top that's just the right size for a fingernail. Once you pop the top, they'll nearly fall out. Toyotas and Hondas are 75% 10mm fasteners and quick clips, lol. EDIT: Also, from all I'm reading and watching, the Dorman 590-440 is the best non-factory option for price/value ($180). EDIT2: Again, not sure about Honda, but I've reused these push fasteners several times over, even on the grill and shroud housing under the hood of my Tundra. In my experience, they're good until they just break. Again, could just be a Toyota thing, I guess.

Did my 2013 F250 King Ranch and a world of difference. Took me 3 days to get it done working on it after work. My kit was the $300 silicone that works well and bought the Dorman bolts so far. Took the savings and installed Rough Country E-boards that are awesome for my short wife.

11:52 the "Spark plug hole" is there so you can use a spark plug socket, its not meant for "full access" this way you can use a regular spark plug socket with direct unobstructed access to it , and not have to mess around with tiny turns with an open ended wrench.
