How is the texture compare to real ice cream though? Also, wouldn't the taste be too much like Banana instead of Vanilla ice cream?

Hi there! Absolutely, for those with nut allergies I usually recommend seed butters (such as sunflower seed butter) as an alternative to nut butters. Hope that helps!

Hi there! 1 cup of rolled oats is roughly 80g, so each 1/2 cup recommended portion of oats per serving would be 40g. Hope that helps!

I LOVE THIS RECIPE! I make it almost every week. I like playing around with it, like adding some protein powder, sometimes switch one banana per apple, adding cacao powder etc. So far everything has been working perfectly!!

I made the chocolate coconut protein bars. They are delicious, easy, and healthy! I cut them into 1.5" cubes and keep them in the freezer for when I need a little sweet boost that also has nutritional value. I will try al the recipes. I like how simple they are!

I use organic quick-cook steel cut oats in the mixing bowl method. It works well. I also add half cup coconut flakes and some Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips, very good.

@@toastyapron I did enjoy making them, although it was a mess. I used soaked about 10 dates, 2-3 tbl. of natural org. pb, org. 2 tlb. cocoa powder, 1-2 tbl. of vegan protein powder, and liquid stevia, it was a fudgy consistency, so i rolled it in oats and put them in the fridge, they were good, the fridge kept them together better. THank you for sharing! 💖

Gave it a try, was delicious! Needs some fine-tuning tho, my beef was still quiete tough. Thinking of letting it boil a little longer next time or is there something else i coud do? 😅

Sorry to hear the beef turned out a bit tough for you, but glad to hear you enjoyed the dish otherwise! Yes, slow cooking it over low heat for a longer duration can certainly help the collagen in the beef break down into a more juicy and tender texture, so you can certainly try that. Pounding it beforehand using a meat mallet can also help to tenderize it a bit before cooking!
