Thank you so very much, that makes all the difference! Both of us were going through a pretty awful time while working on this album, so that colored things in an unpleasant way for us. Reading something like this makes that go away for a moment though. I'm truly glad and relieved that there are others out there who are getting something positive out of it!

Thank you so much for your heartfelt reaction, that makes such a huge difference to me. The catalyst that made this album turn out the way it did was that between 2021 and 2022 I had my first son, followed by my mother getting diagnosed with terminal cancer only a few months later. His birth and her illness/death within the span of a single year caused such an intense and contradictory flood of emotions, that I couldn't help but pour it into this project. Convergence also happened to be the first album which I did fully by myself, and considering the personal subject matter, that process helped me work through the grief quite a lot. Specifically the last two tracks were dedicated to my mother and my son. "The Sea" was written for my mother's funeral and was heavily based on a dream. "Becoming" was a spontaneous recording taken right after I felt my son move for the first time. And alas, no sorry! I've never been one for live music. It's all about the inward journey for me :) Thank you again and I hope all of the albums will treat you well for many more years! \m/

I'm glad you asked this, thank you! I don't think anyone else has before. We purposely decided to leave it ambiguous, so the meaning of the image changes with the mood of the listener. The image itself comes from a horrifying "vision" I had as a teenager in which it was made very clear to me that mankind was doomed to destroy itself (this experience is what the track "Emergence" is about), and from that perspective it was very clearly insinuated to be the final sunset at the end of the world. However, towards the end of the album there are also glimmers of hope, and it's no coincidence that the final track with vocals is called "A New Dawn", making it a sunrise. So it really depends: do you think there is hope for us?

But in my religion (islam) at the issued about when the time to the end of this world is that still in secret of God (Allah) mighty minded of when it's will be happen and at what the time, we call the time of the end of this world as "Qiamat". But the God (Allah) was notified to us it's that the Qiamat or the day of the end to this world will be happen on friday but which one of the day of friday and what the time to be happen it's is still on God (Allah) secret mighty minded.
