Tried Dickeys in DFW a couple times. First time was okay, second was gross - won't do it again. Rudy's was great, though.

Go to Millers BBQ In Texas and get the travelers plate. It is the one of the best (Top 5) BBQ Places In Texas.

I like how every Texas bbq you see on KZbin is the #1 bbq in Texas.

Highly overrated. Years ago when the dad started it was much better. Incredible catfish as well. Now just another $35 lb overpriced brisket hipster joint. Downfall started shortly before Covid. Hired the black sheep of the famous Mueller BBQ dynasty. Things went down just like every other restaurant John Mueller cast his shadow over. His body could only take 52 years of alcohol and drug abuse so he’s gone. But the quality at Hutchins has never recovered. Good average bbq but nothing special. If in the area Cattlack, Panther City, Goldee’s, Hurtado, Terry Blacks all offer superior Que worth the drive and expense.

What a hater. Get me some soaking wet chips and this Buc-Ee's is A+!

I prefer Mission BBQ over Dickie's, meat always has flavor and there sauce game is phenomenal never had a bad meal at Mission but Dickie's only once I had a good meal out of dozen or so times I tried them

When I lived in another state for a couple of years, I was excited when they had a Dickeys because BBQ options were limited. Now that I am back in Texas, I haven't been to a Dickeys since. Just better options. I will do Bucees in a pinch and haven't been to Rudy's in years its hit or miss. HEB is legit for quick BBQ fix - love their beans and burnt ends.

All these comments about other BBQ places you should have gone instead - sheesh! Folks, understand the concept of the video. It wasn't barbecue places - it was "fast food" type barbecue places.

If its Houston the Rudys are hit or miss. The one on 45 south and Nasa Rd 1 is the best ive had. You can also get half pound meats and if you order correctly you can get a sizeable meal for 2 with drinks for under $40. They also have take home condiments he could take outside with you.
