Listening to her talk about wanting her kids to be safe and saying that her son had been there through a lot, it gave the impression that she was coming from an abusive marriage. I really hope that this family is safe in their home, and it's awesome to see a single-mother be able to provide for her children what she wants them to have in life, especially coming from a potentially dangerous and harmful situation. That's not an easy thing to do, and it's easy to see what makes Melanie a really tremendous mother.

Or it could be that going down to only one income meant they may have had to live in a rougher neighborhood. Her son my have felt he needed to be the man of the house and was worrying about his mom. Her ex may have stopped paying support. Many men refuse to realize their responsibility and take it out on the wife financially. To all those men who do step up to their obligations I applaud you. This woman risked her health during the pandemic. These children know they are loved. ❤️👏🏽👏🏼

Single family households lead to juvenile delinquencies. The mother works 40+ hours per week, and must attend to the needs of her children, and the maintenance of a new home. Super women do not exist in reality. Single mothers need to not work outside of the home. Why? Motherhoood is a full time job.

This is why we have these big, pain the ass, cute, annoying kids in the first place. Being a parent is a full time 24/7 job. The younger they are. The harder it is. Being away from my kids when they were young like yours. Ripped my heart out. And I couldn't wait to leave work everyday to see them. And moving / upping your kids roots and moving somewhere different where they don't know anyone is huge. New friends, school etc. Must be hard as hell. But watching this video.
