I have histamine issues and a history of post vital fatigue and myalgic encephalomyelitis with fibromyalgia, allergic reactions, multiple chemical sensitivities and this all started when I was 29 yrs. old. I was tested for M.S. and I had endometriosis. I recall that this time in my life is when I learned about the thymus gland because my thymus was inflamed and I could feel it in my upper chest area hurting me even though it is not supposed to be active in adult years. Now I am age 60, still not completely well and have been pure carnivore for over a year. I still struggle with being able to eat without swelling in feet and ankles. If I eat nothing but grass-fed beef, then I do better. This is still a big problem for me though because I haven't been able to work and cannot afford grass-fed beef only diet. What can I do? Which carnivore foods are lowest in histamine? How can I finally escape histamines? My face and lips used to burn and chap from histamine rushes. I need to know something else I can eat carnivore or do on a 'shoestring' food budget. Please help.

Dr Myhill said at the beginning "there's only one person that's going to get you well and that's you", and she knows that British GPs only look at the thyroid blood test results (and any other test) and that prescriptions are the only way to get thyroid medication. No much we can do about that.

Wow, I didn't know that about the Maseca. I'm a Costa Rican in Canada and I can't get the nixtamalized corn from here. Canadian corn is mostly GMO. I was relying on Maseca or other similar brands but now I'm very disjointed and frustrated to know, it is not like the fresh masa in my country.

Japan also had an epidemic for decades, and finally they found out it was because of the white rice, which was not traditional, but an invention from the German technology been used since towards the end of the 19th century. When they finally realized that the Beriberi was a vitamin B1 deficiency, instead of coming back to eating brown rice, they simply started to add the vitamins to the white rice.

I'm aware of those toxins even though, and I've been eating whole food plant-based for almost forty years. More than 27 years eating organic food. BTW, I rarely eat dairy simply because in Montreal Canada it is very complicated to get organic grass fed raw milk to do the fermentation that I would consume, whilst in my country, Costa Rica I had access to raw milk taken from the grass fed cows just hours before. I've been familiar with the food preparation methods for about 20 years now. We don't need to eat meat to deal with those things. For millennia, human populations has been neutralizing the natural toxins, through methods of preparation, including soaking, sprouting, fermenting, roasting, sun-dehydrating, adding calcium carbonate, nor clay, or ashes etc. and since the so-called Green Revolution, many people have been aware of the chemical toxins that have been poisoning our food.

Thanks for the incredible knowledge. Could you discuss a bit more the influence of iodine supplementing and keto on lab work? I feel great but I see TSH got higher (iodine effect?) and Ft3 got lower (low carb?) while RT3 are medium high and I couldn't find any source who discusse lab work under these conditions. Just managed to get thyroid antibodies close to zero with iodine and low carb

I think letting go of a timeline is so vital as that eliminates that pressure that silently etches away at both mental and emotional sanity as well as at the prospect of health returning. I have tried this since I fell sick with moderate to sometimes severe dysautonomia and everything that comes with it. However, my family is located in different countries that I am and my parents are getting older. My mom has nearly died a few times and I really need to go see her but I cannot fly. Every time I set foot in a plane for the shortest flight possible, I end up with a heart rate near 200 or intense neuropathy grips my whole body so much so that I want to jump out of the plane. Reading Lonsdale and Marrs book has been very helpful and benfothiamine and few other supplements have helped me arise from multiple symptoms. So I am hopeful that more success can be had despite being at this everyday for the last 10 years so I can one day soon fly to see my mom before her body gives up. That time line is here to stay! Thank you for such live interviews!

For the hypothyroid on carnivore, make sure eating higher fat than protein. Yes minerals and eat raw oyster or oyster caps. BUT also get a scan on your thyroid and parathyroids if you’ve been TRULY doing this more than 6 months just to make sure there is no physical alteration.

Yes! My formerly alternating Graves to Hashimoto’s thyroid needed ketosis (blood ketosis - not urine etc). Low carb can be an issue for some if they don’t “pick a team” (glucose vs. ketones). I also used the key thyroid nutrients in supplement form (many people don’t need this, but it was pivotal for me). Oxalates are often (not always) involved. The thyroid can need very different things based on each unique body (more so than other conditions I see), so give anything you try sufficient time to fully rule in/rule out each method. P.S. An iodine loading test via Hakala Labs (no association) can go a long way 💛

My father has a milion euros and he keep's it for him self. I have a neurodegeneration from 20 years of psychiatric drug use. I try since 5 years to rebuild my neurons while having no money. My father dosn't talk to us any more trying to protect his money from us. I have a 5 years old son and a wife. No money, no car. We can only go so far as we can walk. We are traped inside the city since 2019. My brother is trying to convince my father to give him all his fortune. I haven't see both of them since 2 years. They are both rich.

For a future discussion: could you both speak about breast cancer and what we as women can do to prevent it? Or turn it around if one already has it? There is so much terror around the topic and I know most women feel fairly powerless - like we’re all sitting ducks.

I've been trying to track down every brilliant word you put out there after incidentally coming across your interview with Dr. Ken Berry... so much new information for me. Before that I bought the Blue Zones cookbook & thought "maybe this is the answer." I was diagnosed with chronic Epstein-Barr over 30 years ago (during track conditioning season in collage), experiencing periods of remission & misery all these years. I can't seem to gain the ground to fortify myself from stressors & setbacks to experience wellness. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. Would you speak specifically to Epstein-Barr or is your advice roughly the same for most infections & rebuilding immunity?
