I finally did this the other day, and man that was one of the best steaks Ive had in a long time. I pretty much did everything in this vid, with the addition of tenderizing it with a fork. I couldnt believe how delicious and tender it was. Thank you for this vid. Im a married man with an 18 month old and another on the way. Needless to say, with the price of diapers and everything, steak is out of the question for a family dinner option. Or atleast it was until this vid. My stomach hurts from laughing so much! I used spring pans the second time I made this cake too. With the EXACT same results! 😫 I was born and bread in the states you’d think I’d remember we don’t use the metric system at home! 🤷🏼‍♂️ the cake batter: full cream milk in Australia is VITAMIN D milk at home, and not whipping cream. I didn’t notice if you used 10 mils of vanilla? Or 2 tsp of vanilla. I’ll send the conversion to imperial measurements in this post at the end of this. FROSTING: Use whipping cream in frosting, and not the batter. You use coco in the batter, not the frosting. You should or could use chocolate chips. I mix them semi sweet, dark chocolate chips, or you can use a chocolate candy bar. Like Hersey or along that line. Basically it’s chocolate chips and whipping cream. If you let the frosting completely cool off. (I usually put it in the fridge for an hour or two, and it thickens up) Then use your egg mixer to fluff the frosting up. Then it has a consistency of a buttercream frosting. I have been making cupcakes with this cake mix. I just sent two dozen cupcakes to my daughter and grandkids. Instead of the chocolate ganache frosting I just made buttercream and flavoured some of them with banana frosting with banana flavouring. I forgot to mention this cake freezes VERY WELL TOO. put in the freezer until covered until the outside firms up then wrap it in cling wrap. Cupcakes put in a covered container, and DO NOT FROST THEM until you’re going to serve them. The frosting doesn’t freeze well. At least according to my wifey. It’s an easy cake to make. Just mix everything together except the boiling hot water. Then add the hot water by fourths. Throw in the oven and it’s easy as. Really sorry I didn’t mention the spring pan thingy. CONVERSIONS 225g flour- about 1 cup 350g fine sugar- about 1 1/2 cups 85g coco powder- almost half between 3/4 and 1 cup 7.5 mil baking powder- 1 1/2 tsp 7.5 mil baking soda- 1 1/2 Tsp 2 eggs- 2 eggs duh! 250 mils milk- 1 cup of vitamin D milk, not 1%, 2%, or Skimmed ect ect. 125 mils sunflower oil- 1/2 cup 10 mils vanilla - 2 tsp 250mils BOILING water- 1 cup Just add everything except the BOILING WATER mix well Then add the BOILING WATER 1/4 cup at a time. Chocolate Ganache FROSTING: 200g dark chocolate/milk chocolate I use chocolate chips both dark and semi sweet, or a chocolate candy bar.- 7 ounces 175 mils cream- about 3/4 of a cup. That’s whipping cream/heavy cream. Not cool whip cream! Hope this helps. Next time hopefully it goes better brother! I’m happy you tried it at least.

I was really looking forward to doing this cake, and then I screwed it up. It was kind of funny though. I think I came close with the recipe, and I had to look up what the sugar was and then find it at the store. When my wife came home, she asked me where the second layer was. I had to point out that she was looking at both layers stacked on top of each other. lol The cake itself tasted amazing. Super moist. My wife ate little pieces of it all week long. When I do it again, I think I will still use the heavy whipping cream. The taste and texture kind of reminded me of a Hostess cream filled cupcake. I plan on doing it again soon, minus the spring pans, but I have a couple of other recipes I need to do first. I told you about the second channel I'm launching. I uploaded everything on Friday. @@RalphKnowsCarnivore I definitely will check out the new channel. The batter uses caster sugar, which is normal sugar just finer granules. Using vitamin d milk will not change the flavour or moisture of the cake. I have been making cupcakes with this recipe and they’re really good. I vary the frosting flavor. I haven’t tried strawberry frosting yet, but that’s the next one. I usually do a couple different flavours. The use food jell to Color. Yellow- banana ect ect.
