@JoeHell67 When i was growing up, my mom always stuffed a turkey with "bread stuffing". My brother has an excellent recipe for stuffing with sausage. However, when I moved to Texas, I married a southern girl who grew up with "cornbread dressing", which is made outside of the turkey. I like dressing, but I also miss "stuffing". My wife thinks stuffing the bird is disgusting. Lol

I put butter under the skin on both turkey or chicken.

I haven’t made a baked turkey in 20 years. No thanksgiving here brother. I do the same thing with chicken too.
