Though we can be taught on how to influence others with learning posturing. The more important question is, why is my body behaving this way around this person? More than anything we are on the look out, as a mammal with a soft belly, how to protect ourselves. Use body language as a determinant on how someone else is effecting the surroundings or your own body posturing. It's a two way street, awareness is everything.

Yes, but the touching of the neck is the person actually feeling a real threat. A gut reaction, not an insecurity or anxiety, but a real threat. Like being in the presence of someone who will and probably has actually harmed others. It's not an instant, "oh I'm so afraid". It's a natural reaction of protection, "I'm in need to physically defend my self"

KZbin is exceptional at this... You don't even have to watch the video. Just look at the still that pops up on your feed in most cases...

It would be interesting to see how "highly" autistic people differ in body language, because I think it's a significant difference. And not necessarily built in, but learnt to a large degree.

I see you are talking about adaption, but isn't adapting this much just loses the gist of the whole community core. Like what you have mention in the book the proven path. Then what is the difference between audience and community now? You are just speaking the language of Instagram.

He's right on target with 'community'. An organization is a 'community of specific action': a group joined for a common purpose that all seek to achieve. Mintzberg in this vein decries the modern obsession with ' leadership' and urges us to 'communityship'. Unless the operation of the group: the mini community of specific action', works in respect of all its members, it will eat itself. To work this way there must be basic respect for and amoung all its members who jointly take responsibility, at their level, for action and outcomes. If not the result will be first under-performance, then failure. Eating people is unsustainable. Marquet's practice encourages true sustainability of function: that people can keep on contributing without being burnt, or burnt out.

A lot of pacifiers are always seen as bad that you should not do, when all they are is to relieve some of stress or pain such as supporting your head with your hands in the back of it or even when in a desk on a long boring lecture etc. You just want to make it through this ordeal for crying out loud, don't make it look like the person is lazy or good for nothing. Lol.

26:02 Sadly, it’s not true. Somehow humans manage to override their mirror neurons when it’s about doing something good or stopping something bad. The nicer one is, the more others shit on him/her. Do pigeons have mirror neurons? Maybe there are inter- species factors at play.
