Hi Bahroz, First of all, big fan of your work from India and as a fellow learner. I have 3 years of combined exp in management consulting & corporate law. I had my first interview with a Director of Supply chain, and he was adamant to not consider me, for being overqualified for Supply Chain Strategy Associate role, as per him. He based a whole scenario on that too and grilled me for 15 minutes, when I convinced him, why I should still be considered. Is this a common practice at P&G to reject a candidate if he/she seems overqualified for a role? Really looking forward to your response & valuable guidance, as I fear unfair rejection.

Thanks for explaining. Very helpful. One question - was your green card application in EB1 category or EB 2? Asking because some of the requirements you are saying for L1 seem to be the same as EB1C. So in which situations would a company opt to bring an employee to US on L1 versus EB1C directly?

Question #4, is it not +1, +2, +3, +4, +5? Answer would be 13+5 = 18.
@bahroz7 күн бұрын
Notice the differences between consecutive numbers: 3−2=1 5−3=2 8−5=3 13−8=5 The differences form the sequence 1,2,3,5, which resembles a sequence, where each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers. The next number in the differences sequence would be 3+5=8. So, the next difference added to the last number in the original sequence: 13+8=21 Thus, the next number in the sequence is 21

You practice the testyou get better, that alone should be enough to discredit the test, since it focuses on a similar format type of questions. That means an average trained person will most likely outperform an avergae non trained person, therefore it doesn't reflect the actual capabilities of each candidate!

I hear ya - but then that is true for interviews as well… the one who practices and comes prepared will get the job…

I always suggest that you write your resume in something like Word, then save it as a text file, and then open the text file. What does your resume look like? Is it readable? Is it still well formatted? If yes, it should do well with ATS. If not, rework it.

Both interviewers had about 5 yrs of experience and both were virtual. One tip I have given people is to take your resume, give it to a stranger for 15-30 seconds, and ask them what they recall about you. If they don’t tell you want you want people to know, or they don’t capture the skills you want to highlight, then you may have to consider reworking your content.

Key thing to remember with such ETFs is the daily reset. If the SP500 goes up 1% you make 3%, but if it goes down 2% the next day, you will be down 6%. SPXL is a bull strategy, while SPXS is bear strategy. These ETFs are ideal for those looking to take advantage of trading strategies, but one must be mindful that it is very difficult to predict what is a floor of the market. There is no way to determine what a floor of the market is, so if the market declines by 10%, how do you know the market will rally in the next session or will it continue a decline. Not recommended as a core holding. This ETF is a more for the active trader and risk taker and should be something people should avoid completely unless you are ok to lose money if you get the call wrong.
@bahroz13 күн бұрын
Completely agree.... and I would not recommend investing more than 10% of your portfolio to such risky investment (if any)... I must say I did benefit from investing in it both during covid dip and during 2022 inflation dip... I only attempt to invest it in when there is blood on the streets (including my own blood)....

One of the things my boss taught me early on is that executives and senior management have a "short attention span, so do not get geeky", and to summarise your key message just like you would in a tweet. The other thing you learn over time is to create a narrative. Create a picture and connect the dots.
