Were you able to see the parts number before removing? I can’t find the sticker on the PCM and am wondering if the previous owner removed it. I had the original dealer and parts distributor run my VIN and no one was able to find the exact module it needs. I know it needs a California emissions PCM. I’m just not sure if it’s with or without radio frequency.

Yes it can, however you can purchase a block off kit to block of the back ac so that your front system will still operate perfectly, if you have an issue in the back but don’t really need the back ac it’s a good fix

Does this replace the compressor bearing? I don't use my AC here up north, but now it squeaks and I suspect a bad bearing. Don't even want an AC but I need the pulley for the belt.

@@danielchan5944 I suppose as long as whatever I use has the same belt tension. I think in this case the routing wouldn't really allow it. I've since done the repair in this video and it wasn't too hard to do.

Fantastic video. Planning to do this job after i have parts store scan Abs module. My obd doesnt resd abs for the santa Fe. Question. I have seen afternarket parts of just the abs sensor allowing installation on to old hub. Would it be best just to replace the whole hub assembly with after market OE replacement?

There are two more screws on the bottom of the plastic cover. It will be much easier to remove the dog house with all four screws out. Move both seats as far backwards as possible put the dog house out on the lip of the floor and tilt the top up towards the windshield it slips right out.

Greetings to you, my dear brother But I have a question Did you use the high-pressure line to fill Freon? Why? Others object to filling using high pressure... and they say filling Freon should be using low pressure Thank you
@lizardjump995
@lizardjump995 Жыл бұрын
Sorry this has taken so long but the answer is yes. You can absolutely recharge on the high pressure side as long as the the engine is switched off and the A/C is not operating. If the engine is operating and A/C is switched on the you must recharge on the low side only. If you recharge on the high side with A/C switched on and operating it could over pressurize the container and explode. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

I have a 2012 Crosstour...recently my cylinder 4-5-6 died. we changed the 6 ignition coils and it still did not help...what do u think it could possibly be?
@lizardjump995
@lizardjump995 Жыл бұрын
There could be a couple issues. Did you change the 4&5 coils? If so and you still have issues it could be an injector problem but all 3 at one time is almost unheard of. Could be a connector issue at the coils themselves. You could also run a compression test on those cylinders to make sure they’re all good. Outside of that could be a computer issue with the ECM but even that is doubtful. I would focus on connectors and possible injectors. Hope this helps!

Gotta quick question i already know now imma have 2 replace my whole ac system...i have an 04 srx 3.6 cadillac had it for 7 years I noticed my clutch was barely engaging so I assumed it was burned out which it was so I figured just replace the compressor boy what a mistake it lasted all of a month cool air front and rear now my brand new compressor is the clutch is barely spinning doing the exact same thing but not as bad then I noticed the compressor started smoking just asking do u think I have a bad expansion valve or some kinda block in the system
@lizardjump995
@lizardjump995 Жыл бұрын
When you replaced the compressor did you flush the system? This sounds like the new compressor just had a catastrophic failure. If a compressor disintegrates internally the debris will contaminate the system. The system will need to be flushed before putting in new components. Expansion valve will have to be replaced too. Another thing is to add the exact recommendation of oil and amount. When adding oil to the compressor you need to rotate the compressor several times to ensure the oil is coating all internal surfaces of the compressor prior to installation. Then, evacuate the system and recharge with the exact recommendation or refrigerant type and amount. These systems hold such a small amount of refrigerant that the slightest amount either way could be detrimental. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Very HELPFUL video. Thank you! The bolt removal behind the stabilizer bar at time stamp 2:14 was omitted from the video - I think because it's a major pain to remove and would drag out the video too long. I used a 9/16" box wrench (didn't have a 14mm wrench) and a bucket load of patience to loosen it and fingers to back it out. Reverse the process to reinstall.

Thanks for posting this! I had trouble getting to the top 13mm nuts from the underside, even after rotating the compressor as much as possible. Just a few notes from my experience with my 2009 F150 FX4: 1. I detached the inner wheel well liner like you did, but ended up not being able to do anything through that area. 2. FX4 will also require removal of the skid plate. 3. The top two 13mm nuts were challenging to access from underneath, even after rotating the unmounted compressor as much as possible. In fact, I had to use a flex-head ratchet to access the first one... and then I noticed the top nuts were accessible from above, directly behind the battery using a socket wrench with 18-in extension and deep 13mm socket. 4. I will never do this again!

So I’m having an issue when I build pressure it forces fuel out of the boot on top of the fuel pump…any chance you can tell me where the fuel vent or esim is located so I can replace or unclog it mine is 95 model year.. or would just having a vented gas cap be enough to relieve that pressure?

I’m not sure exactly where the fuel is coming out but if it is a vent issue you could try a vented cap.
