You should show close ups of ribbon cable clips, those can be the most difficult part and you sped right over it.

I have 8bitdo ultimate 2c and someone told me to press and hold + and - button for 5 secs to remove deadzone. I did it and it worked, I'm just worried that it may have side effect and it will lead to stick drift or something in just a few months

@@_captain_yt FlyDigi Apex 4. The gyro is 👍 imo. It also last much longer than Vader.

Bro, in less than 3 years I have 3 different XBox controller problems (Pc player), the first the right joystick dont center back, the second the usual drift and LB not contact wen pressed and this 3rd, the left joystick dont get the proper input to "move forward". I bought this kingkong 2 pro in hope it have the proper durability. In your video I didnt understand if youre saying the latency input is bad compared to XBox controller? If its so much diferent am I be "cooked" in COD?

I have the non Bluetooth version, 8bitdo ultimate c 2.4g to be exact. The left analog is drift but i can't connect to the 8bitdo ultimate software and idk why, i did update the firmware via the firmware update app very easily. It's just that 8bitdo ultimate software didn't respond to my controller. I still can play on my computer wired or wireless, i don't understand what when wrong. I need to recalibrate the left analog drift. Please help 🙏

What's your take on that battery? I hate in today age when everyone is all about environment and EVs, 8bitdo is using built in lipos that are difficult to replace for average user. Their Pro 2 BT controller has replaceable battery and can use AAs. Did you tear down their mechanical keyboards? I love the IBM knockoff but again built in battery is troublesome. Don't mind opening the device and unsoldering stuff, but puzzled that they would not make that simple for users.

@@ignacj I don’t tear down their keyboard, but surprisingly enough for me, their mech kb on Bluetooth last way too long. More than 3 weeks and still running without charging. I think it just came back for two reasons. Its just not worth it for the lifetime of the product and the business. By the time the battery is dead, tech is advance enough for us to justify buying another product. They just need to create a reason.

I'm going to buy a controller to use on my PC, but I'm not sure whether to buy the original Xbox Series controller or the Flydigi Vader 3 Pro. Which one do you recommend?

If you can afford apex, go for apex. Else, i take vader 3 pro. My issue with vader is the stick is too light. Check my long term review.

@@mauroalex1 not anymore. After windows update, it stop ask the question. You can try the mobille app version because it don’t require file system access.

@@kaiserdostuff I contacted them by email to ask about this intrusive action of their application. They replied that many of Flydigi's functions are not native functions provided in the Microsoft system, hence the need to modify the system file. But this raises many security concerns, since this is not a normal or recommended action. Furthermore, other manufacturers of joysticks similar to Flydigi do not make this type of modification to the system.

As it deals at admin level file, but if that’s a huge concern for you, i suggest vm or mobile app. It always a good practice to separate work pc and gaming rig. Remember, ccleaner was infected once and downloaded on many pc. Even a well known software is open for security issues.

Great, in-depth review! I've had this controller for about a year now and it's excellent! I play on PC with this one and an 8BitDo Pro 2. I keep going back and forth, depending on mood. For the price, it's very hard to beat this controller. Thanks for the great information, I'll have to check out your other videos!

Great vid! Apex 4 is the only controller that solved mechanical drift issue with its rounded cube pressing on flat plate centering mechanism. This means that centering should still be precise even after prolonged use - a cube would still be a cube :) Just look up its disassembly videos and you'll know what I mean. Sensor wise, hall effect sensors solve the electronic drift - on all controllers with HE sensors. But Apex 4 is the only one addressed the mechanical stick drift, as far as I know.
