Yeah, I mainly use Vader 3 Pro now. It's good. Been few months now, and my biggest issue is there is a small play when you touch it where it moves without any resistance. If use without deadzone or below 10%, it can be annoying since I need to recalibrate until I get the center correct.

so my t4k just arrived and didnt quite like them. The face buttons are bit wobbly and the feeling is off when im pressing the “B” button. Its quite big too for my hands. Question is if i go for the Regular G7 will that be the same quality of face buttons? How does the G7 se buttons compared to nintendo switch pro controller or the ps4 ds? Are they also similar in shape?

I just got this controller and I'm loving it so far, although I wish they'd stick with the traditional xbox one thumbstick caps. How's the experience on playing games with the xbox one thumbsticks with this controller that requires precision like fps games? Are there downsides?

Different because the joystick design is different. I need to play around with in-game setting to get the hang of it.

@@LAN-w- you can use full range. it just the spring is lighter than regular thumbstick especially if you compare side by side. For some people, this can be a big deal.

Hmm... I still like basic xbox, but compare to third party, it lack a lot. At least for me 2 back button and wireless is enough. At 30 bucks, you can get this from 8bitdo and flydigi and both are good. 5-10 bucks more Gamesir TK4 and G7 SE will fit the bill. Other than that, we're looking at 50 to 70 bucks where only 8BitDo and FlyDigi do it well. Xbox can use 2.4GHz, you need to buy a separate dongle. Perform as good as BT, but I don't think the dongle will work on anything other than windows.

Does the removable cover makes any creaking sound while holding the controller a bit tighter ? For example my G304 mouse battery cover is quite loose new, so I have to use a tape inside to make it grippy

hi, the second gen has "SE" behind the name, so it is called "Gamesir G7 SE" and it is white.

So I've been exporing the gamesir app and theres a setting called raw mode for the joystick. I suppose it's to imitate how xbox or ps controllers joystick work. Is the raw mode more accurate for games that requires precise aiming?

Not really. It's just a joystick mapping. I prefer raw mode because it's closer to classic mapping aka Xbox. Circular mapping is not bad too because some players prefer that, it's just awkward if you never train with it.

I tried before add grease or lip balm in between the cap and the silicon. It helped but if the issue is on the silicon, that's really hard to deal with.

Tiny bit of baby powder on the plastic buttons and the silicone pad worked for me. Oil makes it worse.

I like both and different on both controller for fps game is none. Different is which platform you want since SE is for Xbox and Kaleid is for switch. Both run well on PC. If you game specifically for Xbox GamePass on PC, better go for SE for full compatibility.

The feel of the G7 SE controller is a big let down, including the odd start /select placement. Two buttons I press alot. The extremelly sensitive paddles and the weird PlayStation dome analogs also. Mushy feel of the buttons. Man the controller needs a lot of attention. With all its plus people do need to add some critisim. Like why even change the position of buttons this late in the Xbox generations. Just b/c you are trying to be unique. Microsoft has used this button layout for 17+ years.

Sony Dualsense, ds4, this one, flydigi vader 3, pretty much almost all third parties. But i think flydigi did the best with gyro. I think genshin bring support to sony controller. I didn’t test yet.

Tried loads. Elite 2, dualsense edge, scuff impact pro, normal ps5 controller. Out of all of them this is the one I like best. Most precise out of all of them. Hair triggers work well. You can play with literally zero dead zone with no stick drift.

I like symmetrical controller like dualshock4. I think you don't.
