Thank you for your hard work, your two videos have proved invaluable to my learning and are much appreciated. I am experimenting in switching from a very reliable ZFS, somewhat slow (83% used, 30% fragmented) now 7 x 3TB RAID6 home server with LSI 92xx SAS HBA to something like you're describing.

Your instructions are quite accurate for a newbie like me! With this instructions I have a ruuning docker app but not functioning properly. I'm getting errors in PXE clients like as NBP filesize is 0 Bytes PXE-E99: Unexpected network error when using xyz.efi and NBP filesize is 0 Bytes PXE-E18: Server Response timeout.. when using xyz.kpxe What could be the issue? I have unifi controller with DM SE

Trying to compile the generator, but getting the following error: $ make generator mibs go build go: errors parsing go.mod: /home/bruce/gitroot/snmp_exporter/go.mod:5: unknown directive: toolchain make: *** [Makefile:91: generator] Error 1 I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 and I've installed gccgo-go. For golang-go, it would install 1.18. I have several versions of go available, 1.13, 1.17, 1.18, 1.20, 1.21, 1.22, and 1.23. I tried installing 1.23 but got the same error.

So technically, If I put a second hard drive on my PC running Ubuntu, with my RTX 3070ti I could host this myself and use it as an api endpoint for my web app to do translation, and other various tasks, calling whatever model I need based on the task I need done. All this for free ?

The issue I had with doing this is that jellyfin/plex will want to transcode the movie because it thinks it’s coming from outside the network. And if you have a slow upload speed, you are limited to that.

Just a comment for anyone seeing the worker nodes stuck in the "activating" phase. You do not initialize a kubeadm cluster on the worker nodes, you just need to join the cluster initiated by the master and the 'kubelet service will turn green on the worker nodes.

Tried to pass through an AMD 6600 XT. It says the driver being used is "amdgpu" instead of "virto". Also my jellyfin container has stopped being able to play media. Kind of a problem. How do I make sure the iGPU is not being completely taken over by the VM?... oh, no, jellyfin container won't even start now.

Once the gpu is passthrough to the system if it's linux it will detect it as regular gpu so amdgpu driver is normal on the vm, is only on the host that you would see virtio, are you trying to pass the igpu to a container in proxmox? thank you for watching!

3 nodes is usally the standard for redundancy in producrion enviromnets to more easliy do maintenances on 1 node while offloading all the vms to the other 2, but a 2 node cluster is also possible, thank you for watching!

This video is very useful. I finally managed to get my GMKTec M5 Pro 5700U working. But somehow Cinebench doesn't detect the GPU but taskmanager shows the GPU there. I seem to be able to run GPU-Z though.

My setup: - udmp as router - Raspberry Pi with docker - Pihole+Unbound for DNS (as container) - NPM (as container) Both containers are on the same bridge network and can ping each other. My FQDN is hosted on cloudflare and the certificates are not a problem - I get them via DNS challange.

maybe the service you trying to secure is using https as scheme, try changing from http to https, in the proxy host

@@distrodomain Good idea, but it was already on https for my portainer site. But I think I have a solution for now. I took out unbound as my DNS server and chose cloudflare instead. And voila, I couldn't reach my services.... But then I replace the forward host name (name of the Docker container) with the IP of the host and poof, it works. I don't know why the container name technique doesn't work for me, but I prefer IPs anyway. Now I need to clarify why my pihole/unbound config isn't working properly. Thanks again - like your work pretty much :)

I appreciate the video. I followed the steps and I then ran a cp command from my external drive to my new mergerfs setup and somehow all the files only copies to a single drive, leaving another 3 empty. What went wrong? How can this be fixed? Manually moving files from one disk to another at this point?

make sure you have category.create=mfs as a mount option on your mergerfs mountpoint, this is the option that tells mergerfs to put files on the drive that has more free space, you can check all the available policies on here github.com/trapexit/mergerfs, thank you for watching!

I already copied files but never noticed they only went to one drive. I added that, did mount -a and tried adding a few files and they all still went to the same drive. First time doing this and I am still farly new to linux so I am lost now. I appreciate your help! Edit: I changed what you mentioned; even tried copying and pasting yours and now I can no lonher mount mergerfs. Just tells me its not found in fstab. I went back to my original line and same error. I no longer know what went wrong or how to fix this.
