I had an idea where you could also use a heavy block like a reactor or artificial mass block in place of a gyroscope, and it would spin off its Weight, for The rotors to stop spinning it would give the momentum back to the spinning block and cancel out, i tested it and it works but doesn't tern as fast as with gyroscopes, especially with the second method.

Nice Corvette/gun ship(it isn't big enough to be a frigate in my opinion) but I'd say to NOT try and hit the guns on light armor/small ships, instead try to hit the center because it's pretty easy to break through and will chug out a lot of the life force out of the enemy(and sometimes break the ship in half) however if you wanted to salvage the ship (which I don't recommend because of the range it posseses) you should use something like a fighter jet with heavy armanent Ps. Use specific targeting systems only when the main hull is too difficult to break through

Those are good points. My biggest issue in this fight was a lack of fixed weapons in my opinion, my artillery turrets were targeting decoys on the wings of the enemy ship which resulted in a lot of wasted ammo. Also good point about it being a corvette, I've been reading a sci fi series where the smallest warships are frigates so my mind just went straight to frigate lol

@Daddy_Damo Fixed weapons are not necessary, I find them to be useful only to compensate for lack of turrets. I have 2 ships (technically 3 but 1 is trashed due to inefficiency) with fixed weaponry and only 1 of the 2 actually made sense to have one (Post union "Dugong" orbital transporter turned into a gun ship, it didn't have many spots for turrets(only 6 LG, compared to 8 custom of patrol ship) but had a conveniently thick nose which I used to place 2 fixed artilleries that can also double act as a battering ram, this modification compensated pretty well) If you want to use static weaponry then I suggest making your ship more mobile and perhaps putting a battering ram(I'm unsure about a dedicated ram because I didn't build a ship that relied on ramming) Overall, fixed weapons only make sense to use if you lack in fire power and if aiming the fixed gun doesn't put you into a disadvantage(frontal weak spot, gun blind spot, etc.) By the way can I get the novel's name? Pretty intrested in seeing if it gets me curious

One weakness of this is that both turrets have the same setup. If you see at the end how the turrets are busy annihilating the small grid, you could easily use a grid as diversion while players are destroying the turrets. Use the fact you have 2 of them to have 1 targeting grids and players and the other one targeting only players.

Crazy idea: the drop pod just transforms into a large murder mech and... does its job EDIT: OK that "most complicated" drop pod you released about a year after this vid is pretty close in utility, dig that hot droppable gun emplacement

have one that you can steer and fire it first, then have 4-12 in a circle around it that are fired a second or two later and follow the steering path of the first one give the second volley a couple warheads each now you have a remote targeting orbital cluster bomb
