When you finished Salt to the Sea and were crying I immediately started tearing up even though I read it months ago 😂 Also, you really should read Between Shades of Gray because it follows Joana’s cousin! I’m really excited to read Out of the Easy too because the main character has the same name as me and I’ve never even seen a book with my name sooo 😂

I've had high school trips without parent chaperones. I was fifteen, and most of my peers were in a foreign country getting drunk for the first time. I was playing board games with my host family in the meantime 😂 But yeah, it happens. Great video by the way, I'm doing the NEWTs as well, I'm going for a Healer career!

We chose the same EXACT career. At first I wanted to be a librarian, but I failed the Arithmancy OWL, so I decided to work in the Department of mysteries and be IN CHARGE of librarians. Somewhere in the librarian career they say they are under the supervision of the Department of Mysteries lol WHO'S LAUGHING NOW

You need to read "The Bear and The Nightingale". I love this book! I remember Hailey unhauling it in one of her videos and all the comments were full of fans telling her to keep it, cuz it's so gooood!

I always love when there’s BTS mention in reading vlogs. Harry Potter+ BTS=perfection. I’m Korean, so I can’t listen to KPOP while doing homework or reading because I will get so distracted 😂I’m so sad. Also, I didn’t know there is BTS dolls😂😂😂👍

I'm reading The Shadow of the Wind right now, and I have never truly loved a book more than this. It is the perfect season to read this as it is set in Barcelona and it gives you all the feels (mystery, historical fiction, travel-fomo, lovers, friendships, a magical tone, and more mystery)! Hope you read it soon!

in high school, i read 'salt to the sea' in english class and our teacher divided us into four groups and we got a pov each, and discussed the story with only one point of view (i got alfred, yiKES). it was very interesting!! also ruta sepetys came to our school (in stockholm) for some reason, and me and some friends got to interview her and she signed our books. delightful person!

The nightingale is AMAZING. I had never cried over a book in all of my 27 years on this earth until I read the nightingale which made me sob! I read that book almost two years ago and it still is a book I think about constantly!

You had the same reaction I did to The Tea Dragon Society. IT’S THE CUTEST THING!! 💞 Chamomile is definitely the bestest dragon. Also! There should be another one coming out called The Tea Dragon Festival! There is also a chamomile plush on Oni Press, but it’s currently sold out... 😔

All the international high school trips I have been on (which were three: Canterbury (England), Barcelona (Spain) and Paris (France)), there were NO parents, only about two or three teachers to guide us through the museums. Yes, we did run around the city by ourself. So it is possible in real life.

I loved With the Fire on High! And honestly I didn’t even think about parent chaperones because every trip I went to with school didn’t have any parent chaperones, is that weird?? One time we went to London and there were just two English teachers but that was it never any parents 😹
