A lot of people don’t seem to read the CZ manual. It says not to use the safety on half cock, that it will cause damage. I tend to go with what a manufacturer states. It didn’t seem like a suggestion, they really don’t want you to do that. It may work but how long will it be before you’re trying to convince customer service to help repair the damage under warranty? Take care, Be safe

I’ve been on this concealed carry journey since May. Went through a Hellcat, 2 Glock 26 gen 5’s, a Glock 42 and 2 River LCP Max’s. I’ve finally found my EDC. The P365 is an awesome little piece.

Match The 6.5 Creed To Other 6’s Like 6mm ARC Or 6mm GT. If People Are Going To Match Up Against .308 Then The 6.5 Creed Should Attempt The Other .30 Cals. .300 Win Mag? .300 PRC? .338 Lapua Mag? .300 Norma Mag? Cheytec .375? Even The .22 ARC Will Knock Out 1000 Yards & Some Change. 6.5 Creed Is An Incredible Round However More Videos Against Other Big .30 Cals. Would Be Interesting.

Carry mine at 1/2 cocked it’s simple to decock as long as you take your finger off the trigger once the hammer is released the hammer won’t drop past half cocked

PP = Polizei Pistole. PPK = Polizei Pistole Kriminalamt, the police plainclothes detective service. It's a PP with a shorter barrel and slide. PPK/S = PPK Sport, as you described with longer grip and one more round in magazine. Created to get enough "points" to allow import into USA after 1968 GCA was passed. After putting a factory in Arkansas, the PPK can be made there without any problem. The .32 caliber has been dropped from the PPK and PPK/S models as it's almost a dead one, replaced by a .22LR version that never existed historically -- and I wouldn't bother with a .22LR pistol. From their inception the PPK and PPK/S were intended only for close range defensive use and the PP was intended for the kind of range police in its era would typically encounter to, at most, 25 meters, and more typically to bout 10 meters. The average criminal in the 1920's into the early 1930's wasn't armed -- other than the rise of the SA brownshirts and their communist equivalent, Antifastiche Aktion, clashing with each other in the streets using deadly weapons from the late 1920's to 1933. Even then you didn't want to kill a police officer -- a quick path to the guillotine when eventually caught (beheading and the German guillotine existed long before the Nazis).

Safest way to decock the hammer: Place index finger of non shooting hand in between the firing pin and hammer while hammer is in single action mode. Squeeze trigger and hold until hammer rests on index finger of non shooting hand. (You are using the pad of your index finger as a block to keep the hammer from engaging the firing pin). Once the hammer is resting on the pad of the index finger, release the trigger and this will cause the hammer to mechanically go into half cock mode. This is mechanically done and never fails. I feel this is a lot safer than pinching the hammer forward or thumbing the hammer forward as you are using your finger to block the hammer from coming into accidental contact with the firing pin. You're welcome.

My issue with these is the fact that they're a duty gun. I'm an armorer for a PD and I can tell you I have guys not doing the best job maintaining their Glocks. Most agencies qualify once a year including us. That being said, we train once or twice a year, one being more focused on rifle, and the other more focused on pistol. so you're looking at a 6-8 hour day once a year. They are free to come get ammo and train on their own, but few rarely do. Also our marine unit gets their pistols wet often and I have to take them apart and put them in the ultrasonic cleaner. Being an armorer for Glock is fairly easy too. These require more armorer skill. They are also SO much more costly, and it's hard for agencies to get these for all their officers. We are looking at $500 for Glocks vs $2500 for these. They just aren't viable as duty guns unless agency allows them to carry whatever they want.

"Why would they load him up with a small caliber gun like this?" Keep in mind that it is a larger caliber then the .25 acp Bond had been using. Also, keep in mind that Bond needed concealed carry, and at the time a 9x19 mm gun in Europe was pretty large, like the sized of a Browning Hi-Power, which would be much harder to conceal.

IMO, the PPK is very accurate. When I got my new one, I shot 50 familiarization shots, then got down to business. Using a B-27 full size Silhouette target, I dropped 48 out of 50 rounds in the X-ring and 10-ring. This was the first time ever shot the gun, and first time I ever shot a .380 acp. And keep in mind that the grips on the PPK are shorter than the PPK/S.

I have MP5 and MP5k model clones from PTR to MKE but an SD isn't an SD unless it's also in the 9mm subgun class. Anybody know of an MP5SD civilian version in 9mm? That may be a rhetorical question.

It looks way too heavy to carry around when actually hunting… especially when you add the table and chair. That’s a ridiculous amount of stuff to lug around! Maybe that’s how you hunt in Texas! Not for me.

My micro p365 with it's 10 round mag, is the ultimate, reliable, CC handgun in the world! I've put thousands of rounds through it without one fail. It's completely stock! No special barrel, no Magna porting, no special trigger, no light lol, no dot and I dedicated all my time to shooting it with the 10 round mag, even though my hands are large. After months and months of training, I can now say I'm a proficient with it as a sharp shooter. Thank you Sig for the best and last CC handgun I'll even own.
