I know this vid is old but you inspired me to do my own badge quest and I doing shield my first pokemon I am going for is rookidee because corviknight is my favorite pokemon to come out of galar. Right now I am at 75 encounters. Wish me luck.

I have several pokemon with pokerus still on my sword

I’ve found WAY more Pokémon with pokerus than shiny Pokémon, especially full odds. It also probably helped that I used to use the trading systems when they were active but I did find at least two with pokerus on my own in my black and white games if I remember right.

As a kid the gym trials of prior generations used to always be my favorite part of the games. I loved figuring out how to solve the puzzles or brain teasers by battling the correct gym trainers leading up to the gym leader. It was always a great way to get a taste of what the gym leader would have to offer pokemon type/level wise, and a good way to get a bit of extra training in before battling the gym leader. It really bummed me out that the gym trials were so simple and boring in Scarlet Violet (and SwSh). I'm looking at you olive roll.....

My first encounter with Pokerus was at the start of my Soul Silver playthrough, it came from a Mareep I caught that then infected my whole team. I was scared of it when I saw that message at the pokemon center.

I actually got Pokerus naturally in my run of Ultra Moon, and forgot that Pokerus does infact wea off and that you need to preserve it by keeping it in a box 😢

I got pokerus during my sword playthrough. When one pokemon in your party has it, it will slowly infect the rest of your party pokemon too

i got pokerus way back in gen 3 (HG) on my tropius (idk who i got it from) and i spent the entire day battling as many kids in my school with a link cable to try and spread it. Luckily some kid in my class was pokemon genius and knew exactly what it was and what it does

I was doing a completely offline play through of XY recently, and naturally got pokerus… I was shocked beyond belief

all i could think about for half of this video was KITTYYYYYYYYYYYYY and i love it, came for the pokemon, stayed for the kitty

I got a shiny cyndaquil in heart gold that caught pokerus while i was in the process of transferring it to gen 5! Safe to say i didnt end up transferring it lol!

I started randomly playing PMD DX again on my switch. It's a nice remaster, running through essentially the same story, but now has updated cutscenes and cool new boss mechanics and stuff (Groudon fight has like lava encroaching on the room). I played Red mysterydungeon as a kid and watching this, I feel like the pixel art holds up so well honestly. These games are probably why Absol and Gardevoir are still some of my favorites to this day. Also crazy that DX released back in 2020 and they're, almost 5 years later, releasing the OGs on switch aha. Am curious if you'd want to try it out and see how it's updated! The universe use all my luck on pokerus Pokemon cuz I used to get one at least once a year on Ruby and Sapphire and then I didn't get my first shiny until I was 21

I got legit pokerus on my first Platinum play through a few years ago. Doing some random wild battles before Volkner and next thing I notice is my crobat has the tag in the summery. Kinda wish I got it in gen 3, but gen 4 is still a great game to get it in. I was able to spread it around to all my gen 4 games, transfer up to gen 5, and into Home

Maybe the rarest things we found were the friendships we made along the way ❤

Every pokemon game I've played I've gotten pokerus but the only none guaranteed shiny pokemon I have caught were zubat geodude chatot eevee and phanpy

I think I've played close to 10,000 hours of post gen2 Pokémon games and I never got it once TTwTT

Back when i was a kid i found my first shiny as a golbat in ruby, which i started over thinking the colors meant my game was bugging out. Then in sapphire i saw my kyogre had some weird pkrs thing and started over thinking it was dying. I thought everything was out to get me as a kid 😂

I will never forget that on my first savefile of sapphire my whole team got pokerus and before i even recorded it anywhere my whole team was cured…

I got pokerus in White 2 while working on filling the dex a few months ago, I’ve been playing since I was seven and I’ve NEVER gotten pokerus naturally (ie not traded to me) so I was freaking out SO hard

I got pokerus on my first diamond run and had no idea what it was.

I encountered it in the sewers in White 2. Was flabbergasted 😂

Dude this is ridiculous over the month of December I was hunting stantler in HGSS, and I didn’t find any shinies but somehow both my games got Pokerus within a day of each other, wasted all the good luck

I used to have Pokemon with Pokerus that I caught in Ruby. Did not know what it was, and deleted my file 😢

Funnily enough I found a Pokerus infected Pokemon before I ever found a shiny 😅
