Honestly, you are never too old to sport any hairstyle. I am in my late 20's and enjoy wearing pigtails. I've had annoying relatives tell me not to wear pigtails, but it's MY hair, not theirs.

Hi Laney, Unfortunately my hair is just too thick & heavy that tying it in a knot hasn't been an option for me. Even pulling it thru a pony (over or under) it ALWAYS ends up....not right 😕 it shows the band - like it won't spread out enough(?) I don't really know - but if you have any ideas for REALLY thick (combo coarse & semi-fine) hair. I'd love to hear them! Also, I've asked this before but can you do a tutorial on "spin pins"? Regular bobbies & hair pins (the " U" shaped ones) will only hold small amounts of hair. For example (my daughter's hair is like mine but on steroids - way thicker but less coarse) for dance she'd have to do a sock bun & had to always use 15 - 20 hair pins to keep it in place! The spin pins seem to be a better option but I can only seem to be able to do a traditional messy bun with them (the ones I have are not the original "big" spins by Goody as I've figured out by looking up spin pin videos), they're the length of a traditional hair pin. Is the trouble simply because my hair is too thick & heavy? It's long but usually not quite as long as yours - it grows really fast! And to top it off as more grey shows up it's adding more coarse hair than I already have.....please tell me I really do have options. 🙏 Either way - I love, love, love your videos & will continue to watch!! Thanks so much for all you do ❤
