What cord did you use to connect the radio to the RJ45/CAT6 port?

Just a run of the mill network patch cable.

Thank you for sharing, appreciate the detailed video. I have an engine mounted arb without the extension hose. Wondering how it’s held up so far. Anytime I air up it get extremely hot. Has this caused any issues with the pump overheating or hose failing ?
@theoverlanded6 күн бұрын
It has held up just fine. No issues whatsoever.

why did you decide to put it on the top hole rather than the lower one?

Thank you sir! I'll do the same install but on the passenger side (there is an open space in the upper left corner when facing the engine) using the LFD Offroad mount for the 5th gen 4Runner. I have the SwitchPro 9100 as well but it is on the other side of the engine bay so I'll have to run those wires plus power and ground. Hopefully it all works out!

Just installed these on my 24, Land Cruiser and I will recommend these ALL THE Time. The 1958 edition Land Cruiser is comfortable as is but these made it even better. If you are on the fence about them, just do it. So much more comfortable and a really simple and quick install.

How is this setup holding? On the Proclip website, they are saying that the clip cant hold the tablet. Do it still work fine?

Holding up great. I am running an iPad mini btw.

What are you using to hold the mic? I am wanting to have this exact setup. I have been looking for a super clean install that doesn’t require drilling of the body/dash and is easy to hide when not in use.

Obviously an older video, but you want that bottle above the bleeder screw.

OverlandEd, I am preparing to do the 13WL upgrade for my '00 v6 4runner and have two questions so far: 1. Have you had any ABS issues with the 13WL upgrade? (There is some scuttlebutt on forums about this so considering 13WE instead) 2. I will upgrade the soft lines to stainless steel and the vendor asked if I wanted to bypass the caliper side hard line with a longer flexible line. Would you do this? Once again, thank you so much for your videos and advice!
@Saechao2Ай бұрын
Have you found out anything about that ABS on the 13WL? People also mention the Master cylinder since the calipers & pads are bigger for force. Not sure if that needs to be upgraded or something.

You put the holding pins backwards. They are too close to the rotors

Great video. Hi how well has the gauge wire you used holding up. I am planning to run a line to the back for rear cargo area and trying to see what gage will be adequate. Thanks

Beautiful truck! 3rd and 5th gen are said to be the best generations. I love the 3rd gen. I have 99 4WD limited w/ E locker. Bought the truck with the Caliper upgrade. It’s squeaking and a little spongy, not sure if that’s normal. Going to rebuild the calipers, or I may just have my mechanic do it. Yours is super clean. Ok thanks for the vid

I like your videos! I got several ideas from this one! I am a novice at modifications and inexperienced as a mechanic so the more detail you put in the better for me! Don't hesitate to show every step in my opinion!

Can you explain why you didn't want to end the rear breathers in the gas filler area? Were there any major cons? Placing the end-breather here seems much easier.

I kept having issues with air leaking at the hose to valve connection and zip ties didn't help so I gave up and used my backup tool....my wife LoL! Two person is so much quicker and easier in my opinion.... doesn't take that long and I don't need to deal with hose to valve connection that simply won't seal correctly....
