Love all these officially announced projects with no scripts... I don't believe any announcements from them nowadays cuz there's such little follow through. Feels like the nft scam for movies. All this hype for something that doesn't really exist in any meaningful sense

I'm rather excited to have heard about this new comic series. The fact that this series will, among other threats, depict the villain, Atha Prime, who was originally supposed to be the main antagonist of The Epic Continues, which was supposed to be the follow-up to Lucas' The OT, with Kenner toymaker being the catalyst for the multimedia initiative. Lucasfilm Ltd. nixed the idea, along w/ the antagonist (who was supposed to be the catalyst for The Clone Wars, over 25 years prior to the original STAR WARS). The origin story, created by the 2 creators, around 1986, was WAY BETTER (IMHO) than what George Lucas ultimately gave Us. The 1980s concept would've actually given Us a race of evil clone beings, that would've been battled by the clones of Jango Fett. A true war between clones. In fact, in retrospect, the character of Atha Prime resembles quite a bit the motives, mentalities, and machinations of The High Republic's Marchion Ro. Atha Prime seems like such a quality, unique potential threat, I would prefer him to be an antagonist for either a SW story taking place decades or hundreds of years after The ST (which I don't consider canon), or during the 400-plus-years-long epoch of The High Republic. He'd make a great part of the upcoming, Star Wars: Eclipse open world video game, which is rumored to involve a conflict between 2 different races in the galaxy (one of them being big on their military might), among other intergalactic threats. I'll definitely be buying both this new comic series, along with the compilation book version of the Battle Of Jakku: Insurgency Rising series. I really hope that both new series will be represented in both upcoming Animated and Live-action content, in 2025 and beyond. May The Force Be With You, Man.

totally agreed on RotS. Love it, great movie, some of my favorite moments in all of SW. But the pacing isnt great and i honestly find the whole Kenobi/Greivous storyline boring. Kind of harsh but I just think Kenobi couldve been doing something more relevant/impactful. Do you have a favorite season of Clone Wars??

reading the canon Thrawn trilogy (not the ascendancy one) and i like Thrawn a lot, but i gotta say the schtick gets a little old. The whole Sherlock Holmes bit is a little over played but the stories are so good im still hooked. still gotta check out heir to the empire trilogy

I love it when reviewers who admit they like a game can also point out all the bad thing in the game, instead of ppl who hate the game saying bad things about it or ppl who love the game saying good things about it. Kids didn't have a lot of agency at the beginning, but it was up to them (and their parents with their encouragement) to save themselves and their planet from Jod and his pirates. Don't need a season 2, but if there's another series with kids, like the pilot and his dad in _Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome_ or Henry Thomas being a fan of spy games and getting involved in a real spy case in _Cloak & Dagger (1984)_ would be cool.

Man, I have to be honest. I tried watching Andor, and I never got past the second episode. So I obviously can't give a full opinion on it, but I thought it was kind of boring and disappointing. I think a lot of that was of how hyped this show was from so many people, as the best Star Wars show.... Mandalorian took less than 5 minutes, and I was hooked. Andor, when I was done with episode two, I was still thinking, when does it get SO good. LOL I will give it another try, but I feel like I may end up being a minority with that show.

50% chance the Supervisor is a droid (including A.I., computer, etc.), 35% chance it's just some guy elected to the position by the elite, like cardinals do the Pope, and he just lives on the downlow, not having parties or strutting around. In _The Wizard of Oz_ they said no one had an audience with the wizard in years, but they didn't say that here. Only when Fara couldn't get an audience did she get in on the plot. In the movie the same actor played the doorman, but it's not said whether that was really the wizard holding a second job. 10% that some guy is Neel's dad. He's been absent a lot. Maybe he has the job and wasn't telling his family. The droids didn't monitor the parents closely, allowed Fara to launch the probe, and didn't punish them. Something that Neel's dad might have ordered. 5% chance it's Tak Rennod. Most likely he died before the crash like SM-33 said, but people won't let him die. Not sure how if he survived 100 years ago he'd ALSO get the job AND still be around; carbon freeze? A video got a screenshot of the holo and identified him as a Weequay, like Hondo.

I would like to know what your opinion is should Kathleen Kennedy be fired? Should all of her woke assistance and screenwriter and everything be fired as well??? I believe it’s time she should go and we should support George Lucas‘s effort to reclaim his company and Star Wars. Looking at the trailers I see Windle saying "They're not going to just turn up," in the next episode which was over a conversation with Fara where they said other things in the episode. Also, Fara sends a pep-talk message to the kids (hopefully there's more to the message than "don't give up") which is seen by the pirates (the woman on the left was the female pirate who wants her own ship) on the Onyx Cinder so somehow the pirates get there. Uh, oh. There's also the possibility they do Jod's backstory in the next or last episode which might be boring for kids (and us). They did that on the last episode of _Agatha All Along_ which showed her to be a murderous psychopath and made me hate her and resent watching the series after such a good episode 7/9.
