The Shieldbash really looks powerful. However one thing to keep in mind is, when you move into a room with an enemy your movement action will always END. Therefor you CAN NOT move into a room with an enemy, shieldbash him with a free action and then continue your movement action. (See page 7 under "Enemies in a Room")

Really enjoyed this video, thank you. At 1:02:02 you say, "You can very easily make things multi-coloured," and show a token tray with orange bottom half, black top half. How do you go about printing something like that with more than one colour? Is it a manual process where you have to stop the printer at some point, change the filament and restart? Or is is a bit more automatic than that?

Another great playthrough! What a great game, and adding all these expansions give it an even greater variety of different flavors. When you showed all the playable characters I was like "Oh, man.. it would take A LOT of games to get to know half of them.." but it makes it even more worth the effort 🤩 I haven't had the chance to play that many co-op games, but I'd love to play them all 💪 Nowadays, Tabletop Simulator is a great way to play with people around the world (granted you find the right mod) 😉 I believe many people would love to play together with you 😁 Now, onto the next playlist! 🏃 Thanks for the great content, and for the G.A.M.E.R. phrase (which I'll ask you to lend me so I can use it on our game nights 🤭)

Niiiice!! Congrats on the first win of the series 🤩 Drawing the full set of the phoenix helped a lot, and this time the potions DID help a lot too 😆 It's neat that some spells can be used by warriors because they don't require an intelligence check specifically 🤔 The fact that you can go through the whole potions deck in a single game is great (granted you survive their peril effect), but having so many loot cards makes it impossible to get that specific piece of gear that you're looking for (which says a lot about your luck when drawing a whole set to begin with 😜). Keep up the great work! 💪

great game! I think that the best strategy in any deck-builder game is to chain as many cards with the effect "Draw x cards" as you can. On the previous-to-last turn you managed to draw a lot of cards and got very good results. Also, combining the effects of the mill and the woodcutter to put 3 (and potentially 4) barricades in a single turn was amazing. Zogar dying to the barricades was hilarious 😆 There were only two things that I noticed: 1) the Shelspawn should have dealt damage to the mill directly because of its ability (ignore barricades); 2) when moving through the Fearamid, the effect of all the symbols passed through should also trigger. Amazing content, as always 😁

Okay, rules talk: ~30:00 c;mon Mr. Phour, there isn't a deck builder worth its salt that doesn't cycle your discard into your draw when a card is called for, whether for good or ill. Glad your conscience won you over to the right side of that issue. : ) ~37:30 Unless there's something in the rules distinguishing Zogar in any way (e.g. "bosses cannot be affected by card text", I cannot see any reason the Martyr wouldn't work. But I guess he ended up delivering the fatal kick to Zogar even if he didn't martyr himself as advertised! And all due respect to your Gates prowess, but I definitely caught a whiff of promo inflation in that playthrough. I've seen the same thing happen in other games, particularly from a print-on-demand operation like The Gamecrafter, where designers are almost encouraged to keep up a steady stream of new content. I've played a lot of Iron Helm, and it's shot through with that kind of balance-killing expansion and promo nonsense. It's a real disservice to some otherwise fine games and I'm disappointed to see it here. I am, however, heartily tickled by your enthusiasm for it, so please don't take my comments as a criticism or judgment! (And, oof, RE: that little shoutout at the end. "Heck of an election year", indeed. Hope you and yours are well, particularly your mother given I know you mentioned she'd had surgery.)

What a great game! I'm starting to like deck-builders 🤔 The first deck-builder game I played was Clank! and I enjoyed it a lot (haven't played any expansions yet, but had a blast playing Catacombs and its solo campaign). So, I'm sure I'll enjoy playing this one every once in a while 😁 Also, the added variety of the expansion and promo cards add a lot of replayability to the game, which is awesome! 🤩

Great video as always! One thing I noticed is that you were adding damage to the gates when reaching the tower square on the Fearamid, which, I think, would have gotten your tower destroyed at some point 🤔 It's interesting to see how much damage you were doing during the whole game thanks to the drunkard 🥴 Another thing I noticed is that when an enemy inflicts 2 or more fear, all the symbols that are passed by also activate, not only the one the cube ends up on. That would have activated a hero symbol at some point 😉 Looking forward to the next episode 🤩

oof.. what a hard game! 🙃 From what you did on the beginning, I thought you'd get a better result, though. You were crushing it! 💪 I believe that a good strategy would be to rack up on gear/spells beforehand in order to be better prepared for the minions and the boss. Another thing I noticed is that I got the feeling that you were rushing through the rooms. Maybe a better strategy would be to explore at a lower pace and defeat goblins, disarm traps and/or explore stuff to get gears/spells. As a side-note, I appreciate you uploading even the games that you lost 😁I'm sure it'll give me comfort once I try this game and fail 😆 Let's see what's next on the following episode 🤩

Great playthrough! And good catch on the FAQ regarding the order of things when exploring. Maybe doing things in the wrong order is what made the last game so hard. Also, you really got me on the "Let's start with Ethairna... Etherna... ETHERNET is going to go first" 🤣 Lol, Ethernet ended up being the buffed mage 💪🧙 Oh, boy.. at the end I was desperate because you weren't adding the +1 focus from the phoenix set! But you realized and managed to defeat the boss 🥳 Great game! It definitely shows how much strategy you have to put into it in order to get the best outcome, and I very much like that ❤ Thanks for the great content! What a twist! Managed to get out in time thanks to the boots of the ape lord (again!) and got enough stuff to escape too 🤩 I drew 2 Riot cards at the beginning of the chapter, which helped me a lot in freeing some prisoners 💪Although the +1 clank didn't help a lot, but managed to get 2 bards and some cards with the "minus clank" effect (like the good ol' Sneak attack 🗡). In the end, I ended up hoping to generate some clank as it helped me stay afloat in terms of health and trigger other effects. That coupled with the sword that lets you recover health if you defeat a monster on the dungeon row (although some times I drew it and there were no monsters to defeat...). This was a very good run and I got a whooping 225 points, which ended up giving me an A+ at the end. Now, onto the final chapter ⚔But before that comes your video 🤩

oh, man, what a great run! You managed to escape and got to rescue different prisoners, which came to show the different side-quests for each one. I got to free the mayor and then two peasants, and every time I freed a peasant the mayor was kind of disgusted by them and telling me to hurry and escape 😆 The market discount!! What a bummer you saw it after you escaped 😅 had also forgotten about it, and I realized that I used it the wrong way when I played, because I think I ended up spending 5 gold for the item instead of 2 😨 Great game, as always 😁 Now I gotta play the last chapter 🤩

This chapter got me greedy and made me realize how clumsy I can be sometimes! At the beginning I had to collapse a tile and collapsed the only tile that connected me to the rest of the maze, so I got locked on the upper part of the rectangular tile, going back and forth getting all the monkey idols until I defeated the Keymaster, which let me discover new tiles 😆 After that, I decided to free Max, which ended up making it very difficult, as the rules state that you are knocked out if he's knocked out, so I was juggling between our clanks and restoring health with the bard. I ended up getting knocked out because if a dragon attack, but not before barely getting to a safe tile, which ended up getting me rescued 🤩 I loved the mechanics of restoring collapsed tiles by marking wayshrines, and getting more stuff by marking extra wayshrines! I won't get tired of saying this: They did an amazing job with this solo campaigns ❤ Now, let's see your playthrough 👀

Oh, man.. this chapter was the greatest yet! I almost got to kill the Skeletal Ape (I was one sword away from doing so in like 3 turns). I got too greedy and almost got myself killed 😅 I thought I could take him out, but couldn't manage to do so. I ended up getting out of the dungeon with one hit-point left and no cubes left on my reserve 🤣that hadn't happened to me before, and I was so nervous about the next dragon attack and having the ape get to me and deal damage that I had to run away. Thankfully the boots of the ape lord and the monkey idols made it possible 🏃💨 Got my highest score yet on this chapter 💪 Now I'm looking forward to watching your video and see how was your experience 🤩

Finished watching your video. Oh, man.. how unlucky to draw no swords on that last turn! 😱 If I'm not wrong, you shouldn't have taken the 2 damage on that turn, but after refilling the cards on the following turn instead (if the ape was on your same tile). Spending all your lockpicks also stopped you from going to the last haunted tile (you could have taken the damage and moved there), although I'm not sure how much helpful would that have been 🤔 I barely managed to survive because I had bought a lot of boot cards, but the ending is almost the same with the first paragraph being the only thing that was different. I said it and I'll say it again: This experience is soooo much fun! 🤩 Let's see what chapter 4 has in store (gonna start playing that one soon) 👀

This is a good analysis of exactly why I enjoy Clank! games so much. Everything is a weighted gamble. Do I blow my lockpicks right away? Do I save them for when I might need them later to bail me out of a situation? (I'm also the video game player who ends the game with 99 Healing Potions because "I might need them!")

@@CeePhour hahahaha, I'm more of the type to burn the health potions ASAP, unless I'm planning on buying a potion from the market ❤ Based on my small experience with this game, lockpicks are a rare and very valuable commodity, so I tend to amass a lot of them (by defeating monsters, buying cards that give you lockpicks, or buying the items on the market) and try to use them with a specific purpose in mind. A good time to burn the lockpicks is on the endgame, when you know you're doing everything to get out 🏃 I'm loving this game, and my wife too, so here's hoping we can enjoy some Clank! games together and with friends 🥰 keeping your "GAMER" phrase in mind 😉

Finished the second chapter! Got knocked out at the end on the only safe place that I could manage to get to: A crystal cave near the entrance. The amazing part is that I managed to get there thanks to a card that lets you ignore monsters in tunnels, and the only way I could get there was through a tunnel with a monster, but I was with only one hit-point left (you can't take the damage from a tunnel monster if it kills you). It is a blast, and in just core box it's a ton of game. I have never not had a fun time with it, even on the games where I get creamed in combat, or finish with 1 Quest Point and it ends. It is VERY unique. Games I've been playing off camera have been the "solo long game", 12 rounds, and it can become quite a bit to track (sometimes NPCs are moving around, there's multiple round effects, healing various characters, etc), but it's manageable, and incredible. It feels very alive and plays in around two hours. It's like your own little short story in this wild land.

Just finished the first episode of my solo campaign, and I must say, it's amazing!! I had watched this video before starting my campaign, so I knew that there would be collapses. What I didn't recall was the effect of the first collapse! I had bought the card that lets you teleport from a wayshrine to another, and I had discovered some tiles with portals and wayshrines, so I thought that the way back would be a breeze... 🌬 After defeating the skeleton, I realized that I had to collapse all the tiles that had a portal in it.. including the one with a wayshrine.. So, you can imagine that the way back got increasingly complicated, which was bad and good at the same time 🤩 Now, onto the second episode of the solo campaign (and your video after I finish that) 💪 Thanks for the amazing content!

Agreed, this is what I had feared. Just like with Raiders of the North Sea, it's a dang good implementation, but was abandoned quickly. Which means we likely won't see any expansions, which is one of the things it needs (as did Raiders), long with AI updates and bug fixes.
