I Stumbled across this video and glad that I did! My gaming group bought Clank Legacy2, but we only need 1 copy for the 4 of us. Clank Legacy was my fave game of all time, so I was sad to be too slow to purchase for our group for the included beta access. I've wishlisted the Steam game now that it is up! I love that you won this game with such ballsy gameplay; it was hilarious to watch! Subscribed!

Now that it's officially out we bought our copies (my wife and I), and are working through the Challenges again. It's so fun! It's really great to be able to sneak in a quick game of Clank! before work in the morning :)

There he is! So glad to see you back in my feed again, Mr. Phour! As for hoping for additional Clank content in the digital version, don't hold your breath. If Dire Wolf's ports of Dune and Root are any indication, it's going to be bare-bones vanilla Clank for a loooooong time. : ( EDIT: And just to be clear, I love Dire Wolf's digital implementations for all the reasons you're calling out in this beta! I just wish they weren't so slow to catch up with the analog versions of the games they're porting.

Goodness yes. I will never not be upset they abandoned Raiders of the North Sea. It's a fine game, but too plain without the expansions. The released it, it's great and all, but it desperately needs the two expansions. Sadly they haven't touched it. Dune is at least a fairly recent digital release, but the whole reason I haven't bought it (I own the physical game and both expansions, but not Uprising) is because Rise of Ix made it so much better and they don't have it (yet?)!

In my house we have found whoever buys brilliance - wins. I seriously do not think we have had a game where the person that bought brilliance did not win.

That is wild, as I find that is definitely not the case in my plays. It's most definitely a powerful card, definitely one of the top Clank! cards (if utilized properly) but it's not insurmountable. Looks at it like a personal challenge when someone picks it up! 😁

Here we are a couple of months later and it's fun, but hard to find an online game (it can be hours between lobby messages) and I've reported close to 20 bugs. The AI is atrocious except for adding some randomness if you don't have enough players. Even in this game you played, the AI trashed a burgle instead of a stumble. When you can get a proper game, it's good, and support is super responsive

Agreed, this is what I had feared. Just like with Raiders of the North Sea, it's a dang good implementation, but was abandoned quickly. Which means we likely won't see any expansions, which is one of the things it needs (as did Raiders), long with AI updates and bug fixes.

It's good, but I really hope they add expansion content. Vanilla Clank! is great, but it'd be nice to add spice.
