@josecitomarin8 күн бұрын
Tha k you so much for your comment. Yeah it’s a bit difficult to get those images. The whole idea of spraying the valves is so that you don’t have to remove all the parts that need to be removed. If you are going to remove the parts may as well do a walnut cleaning. I am not 100% sure how his method or even the other method I show in my other video works, but on both my videos I show the way to deliver the cleaner to the valves as some of my subscribers asked for.

Hi. Somebody put a different brand coolant in your car. It’s not an issue as long as it’s the right stuff. I don’t know how long you have been driving with it, but if you haven’t had any issue, then you should be ok. When you do a flush, do both and use the same one in both, making sure it’s the correct fluid.

I cant thank you enough for your videos. I watched your intercoolant flush video, and then saw this one. I have a 2013 SL550 and just did a coolant flush using another video as a guide. Your video is more informative. I was frustrated that I could not get any more than 6 quarts back into the car. I thought when I drained the coolant, 13.6 quarts would come out and 13.6 would go back in. I couldnt find this being addressed in the forums. After seeing your videos, I went out and purchased the vaccum. I am going to do the intercoolant flush, and then redo the coolant flush. Thanks again!

Is it possible to fill coolant by removing outlet pipe of cooling tank,then oozed out old coolant while engine e running, subsequently flushing pour distilled water to the coolant tank . The complete flushing poured coolant water to the coolant tank then close the outlet pipe.
@josecitomarinАй бұрын
Thank you so much for your comment. I don’t think it would be the best approach. It’s not like we used to do it back in the day where engines and everything around it was much simpler. Is better if you get the vacuum pump. It’s not that expensive and you can sue it for any car. Also, it will take a lot less time and you’ll be sure it’s all cleaned out.

Jose your videos are a blessing for us w222 owners. Today I had the unfortunate case of my spark plug thread breaking off while removing. I wish when first bought I had just done all of these to get to a base level. I’m out of town and had to tow to a nearby German shop. The back cylinder 8 went out on me, I think it was just the coil so I shouldn’t have even bothered with the plug although it was quite bad. Could have just done that or cleaned codes and got home 150miles away.

Hey. Thank you so much for sharing. So unfortunate. That is why we have to make sure we do all the preventive maintenance necessary. Specially when buying this cars used. @josecitomarin The shop got the broken spark plug threads out and I got it home just fine. Was planning on replacing the rest this weekend but wife had the check engine light come on for cylinder 3 now. So I just replaced out all of the others today. I hope that they were just going bad one-by-one instead of some other underlying issue causing them. Just hit 83k miles on my 2015.

@ thank you for sharing. Yeah that is why I like to change all parts that are the same, all together. And you also have to do it preventively if not things end up costing more. I changed my spark plugs at 50k miles. My car has 56744 miles at the moment.

@josecitomarinАй бұрын
Hi Terrence. Thank you so much for your comment. There are many reasons why fuel economy goes down. But specifically because of maintenance items. So you can check your filter, maybe it’s time to get it done, when was the last time you changed it. Go through my videos which are mostly maintenance and see what else you missing. Maybe even the vacuum pump valve. Also make sure you are using good gas and octane 91 or higher. I use 93 only
