Thank you so much for your comment Andrew. You are just looking at an editing error. If you look at the plate in that part of the video it’s backwards. So you are still working in the pass anger side of the car. You are cycling the ignition to make sure the computer recognizes the new level before you turn on the car. It may throw you a CEL if it doesn’t recognize it before it’s turned on.

Hi Jose, I have an S550 and am having trouble with my O2 Sensors. I have replaced all of them almost twice but I a still getting Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Rich on Bank 1 and 2. I have watched a lot of KZbin and can't find the answers. I have some ideas on where to look and I have narrowed it down to either bad catalytic converters or a leak somewhere in the system from the manifold on down.. I have a lot of other the suspects but these are the main ones . My S550 rides sweet at 140K and I want to keep it a long time. I recently purchased the Ancel AD130 OBDII scanner and it's helping me a lot.. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gary

Hi. There a a few small things that you can start with. Make sure you use good gas. I find that Shell is a very good gas’s to use and also use 91 minimum. The oil you use has to be good and change it in time. Do an oil analysis, you can see that in my videos, I did that video with an engineer expert in the matter. You can use cleaners for your fuel system and for the catalytic converter. At that mileage the car may be back, but I would start by trying to clean it. What codes is the scanner showing you?

How is that done. Thanks again, Gary

@josecitomarin 13 күн бұрын
@ you are doing good with the care of the engine. The oil analysis is definitely a good idea. Take the map sensors out and do a visual in them, clean them make sure the seals are good because they could be leaking some air and give bad readings. Also check for leaks. Then you can also check for voltage, first with the car just powered on and then with the car running, you should see a drop in voltage. Voltage should be around 5V. At 140k it may just be time to replace them. Have you checked in your cam solenoids and position sensors, it’s also a good idea to check in those, hopefully you won’t find oil in them.

Great video, The easiest way is to use the berrymans kit and plug it right into the pvc port directly in the center right behind the ecu. It you prefer the crc product, hook it up in the same area. Its the most direct path to what needs cleaning vs coating the intake pipes. I was very happy with the results on a 157 with 72k. It will smoke and misfire once or twice upon takeoff and then clean up. It won't be as good as walnuts, but there is something to be said if these products are used every 15k or so from the start.
