That is a really challenging story. There is a major need to interrupt the patterns of your nervous system, rewire, reveal root causes, and retrain your brain/body/GU system. You can do this! I believe you already reached out to me, but if anyone else is reading and needs help, please reach out to me and I can give you some next steps.

I did go through the overcome program, and it really did enlighten me about axienty I never knew I had, people pleasing , Perfectionism and always having to be on time, hating to be late. I have had a few days where I was pain free and felt normal, but it feels like I just can't get over the edge and I'm missing 1 more step and I can't seem to figure it out
@TransformPelvicHealth

Those are some big realizations and shifts in how you have been living. That's huge. The "1 more step" can either be a moving target, hoping to live in a body and life that "never has any problems" (which is not really accurate), but it could also be a deepening, where you have further contact to be made with some root cause content, without resistance, fear, or avoidance. If you really want to walk toward it, you might consider doing the 2 Day Root Cause Release Retreat (completely off-grid and no contact with anyone) that is in the Overcome program as a bonus.

When I am very stressed this doesn't work for me not because it isn't effective, it's because I cant calm down enough to sit or lay down to start the breathing. It has helped me in the past when I am not that stressed. Thanks Micheal.
@TransformPelvicHealth
@TransformPelvicHealth Күн бұрын
I get that for sure. When you are super stressed, you might go for a walk outside in nature or do something active like shaking your body for a minute or going to a wall and pushing on the wall for a minute. These are more active somatic shifts that also help to break the NVS pattern.

Really glad to see you continue to shine the Mind- Body light on this issue. About 5 years ago, after coming across the work of Howard Schubiner and others, i started to view CPPS (and other issues like IBS and CFS) through the lens of neuroplastic pain. These so-called "syndromes" have not disappeared completely but tend to be less intense episodes, and seeing the Mind Body aspects gives me a welcomed bit of space, perseverance and even moxy sometimes That said, i still use your stretching videos as they also help. No single cure all, but looking at the full toolkit and seeing things for what they really are sure helped me.

Suffering from urine issues where i have to wait for an hour to stop the urine dribble and thats for 3-4 times a day - kegel exercises made things worse and really dont know what to do
@TransformPelvicHealth
@TransformPelvicHealth Күн бұрын
That's really frustrating. Initially, reducing pelvic floor tension will help create more use of your sphincter. You could do some of my stretch routines, beyond that, regulating the nervous system by addressing root causes will help to rewire your neural pathways so that your urinary sphincter and genitourinary system are balanced again; the Overcome program guides you through all of this - bit.ly/overcomepelvicpain

My one is also CPPS non bacterial I think the winter arc I started it happened because of it in which I started waking at 4am then meditation for half and hour then going for running without any stretching exercises for around 2.5 to 3km and I usually do sprint first after when I get tired I start jogging slowly or I had urinary infection 2minths ago in which I had to go for urination every 20minutes but it got resolved in 4days with excess of water but according to me the cause for my CPPS was winter arc challenge one with no proper warmup and sprint that stretched my muscles I don’t have pain that much but sometimes I have pain in my both testicals or either right or left one and if non of them then my urinary bladder pains which seems like bit filled with gas but it resolves with 1-2hr completely now and sometime I don’t know why I think I have been masterbating since last 8 yrs due to which it has caused for that I had done 2 kegal exercise and because of it also I’m having much relieved and I started overthinking as well because of pain and fertility as I started noticing hormonal fluctuations my beard which usually starts to grow just after cutting it another that started growing at 4th day - India

Hi Michael, can TRE cure hard flaccid?
@TransformPelvicHealth
@TransformPelvicHealth 9 күн бұрын
TRE is an awesome genetically-built-in tremor response approach that helps to release tension and underlying trauma in the body, it can be very assistive for HF (as are other somatic practices). I would not say that it alone cures it, but it could be a major component in releasing and also letting go of the mental/emotional attachments to stuck patterns that are perpetuating HF symptoms.

Internal conflict does place stress on the system, upregulating your nervous system to (fight or flight), as your unconscious is at odds with your life. So yes, it is a contributing factor. Learning to see the positive in your situation, ask for changes, or aligning to something more true to you is a good idea.

Then on 2 December flare up. This time with stinging all over my body especially in the uretra. Pain not so severe this time. Today 3 January no stinging but sensible sensation on my pelvis. When I'm in flare up, l think the worse are the panic attacks. I need to overcome this. My life changed drastically!

@TransformPelvicHealth First of all, thanks for your answers. I've been thinking a lot about you these last weeks. I've seen some of your videos. And many, many others more. I've read thousands of comments of people who have CPPS. I'm happy to learn that some of them are pain free and some of them cured. I am a Christian, l know God is with me into this to learn something important. And l really hope l will overcome this. I've started phisioterapy with a very experienced PT. She's putting like a belt around my waist with indiba waves and she's making me an internal finger massage(not very pleasant). December flare up was after l had sexual contact with my wife, l was so scared because of so many stings all over my body. Since then we haven't had any sexual contact just in case. I do stretching, walking and short running uphill, changed my diet completely, drink water with Celtic salt and use DõTerra essential oils (you smell them or apply on body). And of course praying to God to take this away from me as l haven't been able to work since then! So happy to get in contact with you, so happy for you that you've beat this! You had an advantage by the fact you're young and maybe the body reacts quicker! I don't know. Keep in contact! Greetings from Barcelona! ❤️👋

I’ve got sacral pain but it was revealed in a CT scan at the emergency room that there is a mass on my sacrum. I’m hoping it’s benign. It was an incidental finding because I had to get emergency surgery for a inguinal hernia which was obstructing my bowels. Unfortunately I didn’t have health insurance when this happened. I’m sweating bullets worrying if it’s malignant but still trying to get on state funded medical insurance. ''There is something imbalanced here that is ultimately helping you to protect from really uncomfortable feelings that are in the subconscious so this is perceived as a threat and the brain with an upregulated nervous system can then activate particular forms of pain and dysfunction'' What is out of ''balance''? What is the measurement? Where are emotions stored in the body and how are they ''released'' Where do the emotions go once they are released? Do you have any studies that support this claim?
@TransformPelvicHealth
@TransformPelvicHealth 22 күн бұрын
Hi James, I tend to speak in layman's terms, to succinctly convey the main message. We are referencing nervous system states, neurology, and chemistry of the body; regarding the palpable, measurable proof. Emotions are not themselves stored in the body, but there can be long-term tension held in fascia from trauma. When emotions are released; that is not a literal statement. We are referencing micro-changes to the neurophysiology. Here is a list of supporting research: www.symptomatic.me/bibliography /// on top of that, I have worked with over 1,000 clients with this method and we collect data on outcomes.

@@TransformPelvicHealth ''Emotions are not themselves stored in the body, but there can be long-term tension held in fascia from trauma'' None of the studies you posted support this. Fascia always holds long term tension, it's holding you together. Those studies show that calming the nervous system can reduce pain. They don't support the claims you make in your video. I appreciate the article is making a broader point about pain conditions in general but only two studies are regarding pelvic pain both of which are for women. One of which has no control group. Both show correlation but not causation between depression/ sexual abuse with pelvic pain. Lastly there is one study for urethral syndrome. Looking at those studies you have to perform mental gymnastic to believe that a man is experiencing penis pain due to the guilt of cheating on his wife.

I’ve been dealing with this dreadful condition for 8 months now. 6 of those months I’ve been doing NoFap. Which I believe was a step in the right direction. But I’m worried alone will not be enough to cure myself from HF symptoms. My symptoms are: -SEVERE ED!(absolutely no morning/spontaneous erections, reliance on lots of physical stimulation…even then it’s very abnormal erections typically) -Consitent semi-rigid flaccid penis.(feels firm or rubbery…esp on the sides) -Consistent contraction/shrinkage of my flaccid penis. -Worse HF when anxious -NO PAIN AT ALL!(makes me think it’s more nerve dysfunction than muscular) -Relief when I pee and often at night. How I got this was from over masturbation and clearly the worrying that I was having with masturbation and ED I had already been suffering with. I just turned 19 a couple days ago. I’m even still in HS. I really want this damn thing gone. I have a beautiful gf I intend to marry and have children with. Doing so will be much easier if I can cure this awful condition. I’ve seen 2 urologists and a PFPT. Now my urologist is recommending sex therapy…definitely don’t think that’s the answer. I think im going to look into your program. What do you recommend based on my symptoms?
