You can buy good laptops for school and work for most people much cheaper than the ones that you are describing. You can get a very decent laptop for seven hundred dollars or cheaper. In my opinion, most people aren't going to spend $1300 to $2000 on a computer for back to school!

And thats why you dont cheap out on a power supply. Its job if theres a power surge or something is to sacrifice itself so nothing else goes down with it! Much better to replace a $100 part rather than your $200-300 cpu or friggin $200-$2,000 gpu AND the $100 psu! Thanks EVGA!

This is weird, I just updated my cpu to ryzen 9 5900 on the same motherboard without updating my bios I was getting blue screens everytime I ran a game but would get a display and could do low stress functions I did update my bios with the new cpu installed, will this mess my pc up in any way and do you believe this is what was causing my bsod?

So, what if you close it from Task Manager? The program/Virus is still on the system itself. Without erasing it`s traces, there is no way for it not to return at every start-up.

This works similar to how our schools screen freezing program worked. We figured out this workaround in like two weeks then the it staff found out and made it also lock key inputs. However if you hit windows + L at the right time the program would still freeze the screen but it would think the computer was locked so would allow key inputs then you could navigate to a new desktop. They fixed this in my last year at the school by forcing it to open with each new desktop but it was fun while it lasted.

Another reason it don’t fire up could be because the bios is up to date and he installed a newer cpu inside. He needs to install the old cpu and update the bios then install the new cup and it should fire up. Unless of course the motherboard is fried then I hope your wallet is happy right now buddy :))
