I have no problem improving, no problem with criticism, but I do want to know the rationale and see that it stands the test.

@jhemp11 күн бұрын
@august919 I mean that's fair. I'm more critical of myself than others because I strive to deliver a bare minimum expectation that most people think is too high a bar to meet apparently. When I approach the bare minimum I can get a bid irritated with myself and be "mean", but generally it involves "panning out" assessing my actions and if they align with my values, determining where to "improve" based on "suggestions" and walking through how the "changes" would look and revising as needed. In essence, I don't think ten times longer and meaner applies to me necessarily either. Only that I hold myself to a high bar and probably have already criticized what most would suggest and gone the next step. I'm not so foolish to say others aren't privvy to something I'm not or can't offer good advice that's on par or exceeds my own, but as a generalization, I don't think anyone who put less effort than I have into anything will give me much to work with. I will always start with the assumption that it will and move from there, but again, in general, people don't put the same amount of thought as I do into things, but afterwards I'm happy to revise anything I've gotten wrong.

As an INTP, I constantly beg people to give me *constructive* criticism. The results are either the person's too nice or have no idea what the word constructive is and I get roasted about my many flaws as a human being.

I’m an INTP, but I would have figured out what was happening before going into the room, then the only critique would be that nobody knows what the heck I’m doing the whole time. I would then be disappointed, because that doesn’t tell me anything about what I can improve. If I’m feeling particularly crazy, I’d leave the room, complain about how little was on the page, then start asking coworkers (mainly ENTJ and INTJ) for criticism, constructive if possible.
@symbolofalfie12 күн бұрын
Real talk, I have been watching and commenting on your videos for a while thinking I’m an INTJ (I was Te gripping) only to realize I’m an INFP (now I’m out of it) but cannot be bothered to go all the way back and delete them all. Point is, when the INFP had a crisis, it was very on point. Also, the poor INTJ, awww. Bro let me hug you. 😭😂

The INTJ later went on to learn everything he could about the auditor, stole several critical points of data from his personnel file; which then allowed him to ruin the auditors financial, social, and eventually get him fired.

Fellow INTJ here. In high school - a long time ago - instead of grades, we each had an in-person session with multiple teachers present at one time, and we were asked to provide a self-evaluation of how we did in every class. We were also asked to state our strengths and weaknesses overall just as a person. I loved it. Everyone agreed with my reflections. Honestly, I don't understand WHY people take things personally so easily and so often. We're all here to explore the universe. We're all mortal, and we all have a brief time to make the most out of our lives. Make sure your basic needs are met, and provided they are, help others. It's fine and good to express your emotions, but don't let them prevent you from achieving your goals and making the world a better place for all. 💝

I don’t remember giving permission to use my 1:1 manager review starting at 3:27?! At least you didn’t show the 24 hrs following it of internal analysis, self cross-examination, going back over every email, IM, or conversation that I had in the past year as I looked for reasons and then of course the full week…or more…of internal, never expressed non-stop mental conversations defending and arguing my side. It’s so much “fun” being my INTJ/INFJ self. 🤦🏻♀️
