I went to A&P school with Steve the drummer. I was just awe struck the whole time I was in class with him. I wanted to tell him how much I loved savatage but didn’t want to come off like a crazy ass! He was a cool dude

I grew up in Bradenton, just below Tampa Florida. Savatage was our local metal band. I’ve seen them a lot in the 80’s at small venues in the Tampa Bay Area. Great memories and a great time to be a teenager into metal

My bands name will be something todo with rats in memoriam of Jon and Chriss Oliva. The rats in the savatage video clips to me they symbolise hard times and struggle.

I was at the Livestock Chris lost his life at, remember hearing the radio DJ crying while he read the copy... Tampa Bay is a live fast, die young kinda place.
