Over 20 years, 11 albums and hundreds of performances around the globe, Savatage’s dynamic music - which mixes elements of thrash, progressive, power metal and classic hard rock- earned the band a passionate cult following.
Founded in Tampa, Florida by brothers Jon and Criss Oliva, Savatage saw their many musical triumphs overshadowed by personal tragedy. Albums such as 1987’s “Hall of the Mountain King” - their first of eight collaborations with producer and mentor Paul O’Neill - and 1991’s riveting “Streets: A Rock Opera” continue to be celebrated to this day. The death of Criss Oliva on the heels of the breakthrough success of 1993’s “Edge of Thorns” altered the group’s trajectory considerably.
The band experienced a renaissance with their 1995 album “Dead Winter Dead,.” and continued to display a flair for theatricality of their own on their final two albums. An epic reunion performance at 2015’s Wacken Festival before 80,000 fans - showed proof that the crowds will never be gone.

After Criss passed I lost most interest in Savatage but when Jon quit singing, that was it. I did recover and I do believe some of there stuff after CO/JO is good, it's just not the same!

He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do. We are to live in obedience to His law, which is all of scripture, every word of it! He dwells within us all to be with and lead us in His ways. 💕🙏🔥 🕊️ Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. Numbers 14 18 The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’ God has said to stop sinning. Scripture says how you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. Yeshua is worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said. Yeshua said If you love Me you will obey My commands. Love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.💖🙏🕊️🔥 obeying His every word and in that is life more abundantly. Praise God so Awesome!!
