I'm super excited for Switch 2. I didn't preorder Switch 1. I'll be preordering Switch 2. I was hoping Switch 2 would be backwards compatible. Since it seems like it mostly will be, everything else is a bonus. Also, thank you for the videos you make. I greatly appreciate them.

You know me. I'll preorder as soon as it's up. I've tried to avoid the Switch 2 hype train for months but it looks like the leakers were right. I hope the specs are as well. Plus Metroid and Zelda are necessities to me. The windows handhelds are great but I've always been a console gamer.

I have very little enthusiasm for Switch 2. I have 2 Switch Lites, that my kids refuse to play, and thankfully so, given Nintendo consoles have the most expensive game libraries in all of gaming. That all said, I'm very happy for Switch fans as they have been waiting patiently for a new device.

I'm mixed about the magnetic connects on the joycons. I'm sure they tested them, and they are strong enough. But are they strong enough for life? How often have kids swung my Switch around or dropped it? That's why a physical lock may be a preferred option in this case.

I use the switch mainly but I also do use my ally x my switch just gets more playtime so the switch 2 is day one for me especially because I love Nintendo games

For me The Rog Ally x is way too good. It would be a major down grade buying a switch 2, and so I think I’ll pass. Can’t wait to see LG2. I may pick that up if the ally 2 isn’t coming any time soon 🤔

Hello I noticed on your info tab there are pre installed games on a memory card. Would I need to download something for that or is it really plug and play. Also I really would love to emulate switch games would this have those emulators and games? Maybe you can point me to the right direction. Thank you

you should try retrobat, specially if you also want to play emulator games, it just way easier and looks amazing on the ally, give it a go

I’m getting pissed, nothing is working on my ally x. I can download the software no problem, but what seems to be where things just don’t work for me is the rom and bios part.

Aw stay with it Ashes! Are you putting the roms into the correct folder eg snes? Bios is slightly tricky but we only need to do once then it’s done!

@ so it seems I had to switch to auto because none of the games assets would load like the guns and bundles or anything until I did that. Still had crashing until I disabled full screen optimizations on the cod.exe file in the folder. Insane how this thing can get 120 FPS on the latest cod title using FSR 3 on basic settings

actually it may be a rebirth island issue. the game seems to crash on rebirth island, but I can play the big map and area 99 just fine.

I've been using it with RDR2, Wukong, Tekken 8. It's been working amazingly! I've been going full 1080 with low/medium graphics (looks super gorgeous btw) and getting 80-100 FPS with 17W performance mode. If I plug in, it goes up to 120 FPS sometimes. Ally X is the best!
