The peacock will be the star of his own show someday, I am sure. I hate commissions, you can never create something that lives in the mind of someone else. I’m super loving Clochette sitting upon her throne in your castle. Your apartment/kingdom is so magical and beautiful. Hugs to you and Clochette 😊

I can understand why you are a bit frustrated. They should have trusted your creative artist's instinct and left the peacock alone. I am sure it will look gorgeous in the end.❤ Noticed your lovely tea pot. I found a beautiful old German brand on Etsy for myself, and it came yesterday. It will make the tea time ritual ever so more special. 🌷Love how clochette overseas everything from her viewpoint at the window. She is a beautiful friend. I wish you sunshine birds and flowers in abundance in the coming weeks. 🌷🍃🪻⚘️🌱💐🌿

I found this coffee pot last year but I damaged the beak as I always do , I understand your joy we never have enough teapots ! yes Clochette is my best friend. well yes they have their own vision so sometimes there are some tensions and misunderstandings for these commissions but I think it will be nice at the end, oh thank you I was gone for Easter monday when I came back today the studio tree was all blooming, it was a nice surprise ! I wish you too a happy beginning of spring!

I agree with the comments already written. The peacock wanted to stay with you 😊. If you finished it, it could also make a beautiful stand for displaying jewelry. 😃. I thought your clothes matched the color of your shelves today. So beautiful. You ispire me all the time. Thank you for making these videos. Here in Germany the medieval festival season is beginning slowly. I have been part of medieval reenactment for 17 years now. It is very rewarding. Love the fabric for your new curtains. Can't wait for the next video upload. Huggs from Fairy Tale Cottage, Schurwald Forest, Germany. 🌲 🌲 🌲 💖

Thank you for this joyful video Letitia. I apologise for my absence, sadly another bereavement , but your video has lifted my spirits and reminds me how important creativity is in our lives. I am sad they wont accept the peacock, but what a beautiful workshop that could be, maybe a pair for our mantelpieces ? I would certainly like that. I find commissions very difficult, I dont like the constraints, I admire you greatly for dealing with them so gracefully. Wishing you a joyful week and thank you xxx

Thank you Deborah! Sorry you had to go through other tought times !The peacock will stay in the studio and be used for fairy tales projects, yes commissions are hard I had deleted something I said about doing commissions in the video, because it's just tricky , and I only do commissions for them and it's not every year, otherwise it's a big no,I had wasted too much time , supplies and peace doing commissions in the past ;) A comforting spring week to you ! :)

Have you read that courtly love was inspired by Eleanor of Aquitaine? It's also fun to learn how much of the French inspired works as far away as Wales with the tales of Arthur. Fun project!

I'm not extremely familiar with medieval history and for a long time I really didn't like anything medieval at all. So Eléonore d'Aquitaine is not a character I'm super familiar with, but I' ve studied some of the Arthurian texts at school by Chrétien de Troyes, and he is one of the reference for the exhibition too.and i for sure want to read more about l'Amour Courtois and the Troubadours. Thank you!

Laetitia, how lovely your video is. Your home, your outside area, and your medieval project are all so inspiring! My favorite time period in history is the medieval era. I love castles, gardens, cloisters, clothing, and illuminated manuscripts. So I can't wait to see the perception and rendition of your castle and garden project. I see in the background on your desk that red illuminated book of some sort? You sewing your new curtains, the draping looks so delightful draped over the chair with the lighting and shadowing stunning. I can invision sitting with you by the window over hot tea. I can feel the wind blow through the window, smelling the air, the hot tea, and the dessert. And look how Choclette is so loving the outside sitting on the chair. I am looking forward to your next video. Tha 11:44 nk you again.

Thank you Roksanna! glad you like the medieval era, it's for sure fascinating centuries! This book was a December find at the old book shop, it's about historical characters and heros from Paris throughout history. yes Clochette is so happy when the studio windows are open and the sun comes in, she prefers staying there and looking at the birds than on the balcony which is too noisy . Thank you :))

There are always some challenges which come with these projects, it's part of it , we will how it turns out! Thank you ! :)

It can be tricky at times thats' why I ve stopped doing it for "normal clients, I keep this one because the exhibitions travel in wonderful castles year after year , there are the only public culture institution who has still the finances and the will to do that , so it's worth it at the end.
