Thank you! Appreciate the feedback. You shouldn't need to 'load to' any files, you just need to open them on the world map and navigate to the correct directory as per the manual. Does that answer your question?

Hey buddy me again. I ordered the airbus joystick and throttle and cannot wait. Also getting yeh addon when I find it in stock. I was wondering when your video on bindings might be coming and if you might be doing it for a few aircraft I.e CRJ, Airbus and maybe Cessna? I am just curious how things like flaps work for an aircraft with more flap slots than what is in the addon. Can you not use it or how does that work. I know throttle wise you can flip it so the whole thing is smooth which is good for things like a Cessna. Last thing I was wondering. Can you leave the reverse detent active while having the rest of the throttle smooth? I.e good for a 737. Thank so much as always!

I’ll be doing that video as my next one! I’m waiting for an update that’s imminent for the CRJ which might change some things with the flaps axis (that doesn’t currently work) for the TCA stuff. Then I will do it. I have one for the A320 planned too but I hardly fly GA so unlikely won’t be doing that. You can likely apply the same logic though. Also: yes - you can have it smooth with reverse. I’ve used it like that for the Boeing aircraft myself.

@@BobbyFuzzy thanks again for the reply man. Currently watching one of your past streams and interested in that self loading cargo. Loved FS passengers back in the day. Is it good with the CRJ and airbus or do you have to do some funky workaround I.e opening doors, seatbelts (I.e is it linked to the actual seatbelt switch or do you have to turn it off separately). Sorry for all the questions haha but I promise last one: have you tried PACx and have a preference?

@@whatsnext5460 Pleasure! SLC works, sort of. Unfortunately, it doesn't recognise if the door is open if you just use the EFB. You have to connect a jetway. But otherwise, it seems to work great. Don't know which stream you're watching but in my most recent one (Gothenberg > Copenhagen) I never got up to my cruise altitude so it didn't like that. But normally it works okay (within the current limitations of MSFS). SLC hasn't been updated majorly really since MSFS came out so I expect it will only get better in the coming weeks/months. That's OK mate, ask away! I haven't tried PACX at all so don't know how it compares really. There are some really cool changes coming in SLC though such as voice commands to speak with the cabin crew & more (check their discord) so I think SLC may be superior but then again I don't know the full breadth of PACX.

Why is the throttle for the crj weird I’m not sure if it’s just mine but the throttle locks at around 70 percent so it makes it tough to cut speed on a decent

Also my rudder is not working, the rudder trim works but not manual rudder control

@@loganc352 Does it operate normally on the ground? Both thrust levers and rudder? There is no auto thrust so you will need to adjust them to control your speed. Rudder I've not had any issues with just using the default binds so sorry I can't be too much more help there! All I would suggest is like in the video - create new controller profiles from fresh and only bind the essentials to begin with and see if the problem reoccurs.

You should be able to bind both throttle axis to one slider. Then set the toggle one of the reverse thrust binds to toggle reversers on and off when needed.

I'm also trying to figure out the reversers. Can you bind a button for the reversers and use the throttle to control the power?

Yes - I've not done it myself (but had previously used this method before I had a throttle with reversers). You should be able to bind a button to toggle the reversers on and then you will move your throttle levers as normal to control the amount.

Pleasure! In hindsight I have found there is one hidden away but honestly I feel like my method still works great. More flexible if you need to change time etc.

What is it that you're struggling with? You should just be able to run the installer in the same way you would install any other application on your computer.

I chose not to do an installation tutorial as it's really just a case of downloading the installer from Aerosoft and running that as any other installer or downloading/installing direct from the marketplace in-sim. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here!

Most joysticks have a slider - just set that up as using throttle axis 1 and when you go into the aircraft on the EFB in throttle calibration, click 'single axis'.

@@jk86k74 Can't help you there I'm afraid. Not all bindings work at the moment with this aircraft. I'm struggling to bind a lot of things on my Thrustmaster controller too like parking brake. Hopefully we will see some improvement in this area in the coming week.s

Thanks for this video. I have just a few problems to setup my Levers. I have installed the full packkage from thrustmaster. The quadrant and the addon. Speedbrakes work very nice, but the Flaps are big big problem. From 0 to full with one step. As well I have a very abnormal thrust behavior. Tried some settings and calibration on the EFB but no solution. Has anyone an idea?

Hey! I also have the same setup as you. Unfortunately the spoilers and flaps axis don't yet work with the CRJ. I've reached out to Aerosoft for comment and will update when I have more information. The throttle is an interesting one. I assume you're referring to the sensitivity of it? Because there is so little physical travel on the quadrant between idle and the climb detent (obviously it was made for Airbus users in mind), it becomes extremely sensitive. I am using custom 3D printed detents for the quadrant so this becomes less of an issue but I have noticed this with the stock detents. I have seen that Aerosoft are aware of this and will be working on improving this however I think some of the issue comes from the unfortunate physical setup of the device. One thing I might recommend is 1) Setting your CL detent 1 detent higher. Then have toga inbetween that and max power. I used that with the stock detents with better results. Or 2) remove the detents. You can show a hint on the PFD to show which detent you are in making it quite easy to know without the physical detent on the throttle.

@@BobbyFuzzy I figured out how to get the reversers to work. Bind throttle 1/2 decrease to the reversers it should be Joystick L Axis X+ and Joystick L Axis Y+, Also you can calibrate the throttle through the ipad, its on the second page of the options tab
