You should be well over 100k subscribers at this point. Spread the word people. This is the very best, most concise video of it's kind for shooters that are just getting into long range shooting. No BS, great presentation, and just the factual content that is so needed in this very fun hobby. Thanks for all your hard work and hoping the channel blows up! Paul from Pro-Precision-Rifles.

These videos always interest me because I use to zero mine at 100 which is difficult with my old eyes. I use mine for hunting so I use to zero at 100 yds, but switched to the 36 a while back. Now I’m switching bullets to a 70 grain and know about what I can expect.

Are you running an enhanced handguard or is it a standard connect to barrel nut? Just curious if that has anything to do with point of impact shift whith mounting placement.

I was so tempted to buy one of these this week. I just can't think of a reason why I need a X35. My longest shots are 600 yards. They're a great buy based on the reviews.

I wonder if using an arc Rail would have similar results of causing a poi shift!

Love the content. I have the ip 4000. The laser is hitting 3 in over your cross hair from 100 to whatever. 3 in being subjective to laser over scope centerline. What I saw you doing was ranging the ground in front of the target. If I set my reticle on that steel at 1000 and range my laser is 2.75 in above. Good for thought thanks for the vids

Great reference points here. I like that you are taking 10 shots at each range instead of 3 -5. Heats that barrel up. Thanks for taking the time.

The shift is a reason a lot of gas gun competition shooters like myself use semi monolithic upper designs like the Seekins, Ridgeline LPR and Aero enhanced where the handguard is bolted directly to the upper and not the barrel nut. This doesn't completely eliminate the shift if you apply a ton of force, but for normal use (like what you're doing here) the shift is essentially gone. Good on ya for getting out there and shooting matches!

Good to know thanks I was wondering what was going on I come from a bolt back round but have been playing with AR's for awhile there kinda like a drug I have 5 now and more on the way my next is going to be a JP side charge.

Oh, one more little tidbit heheh, my father, many decades ago, gathered up my brother and I into his little 4 banger Jeep, trundled us down to the local general store, and gave us each a choice for our first "High Powered" centerfire rifles. Bro chose a pre-64 Win Model 70 in .243 Win (after all this all went down 'pre-64 ':) while I chose the larger case capacity Rem 700 BDL 6mm Rem because of the more elegant stock and hinged mag floorplate. Since we both handload, I've never regretted my choice, and for that matter, neither has he. We BOTH still have and shoot our original rifles:) What is it that Hickok45 says? "Life is Good" :)

been watching and subbed for a while now. since your 'SBR the new DMR' video. you exude so much wholesome, intelligent, and calming grandpa energy. if you're looking to increase viewer base, i recommend putting out separate videos just going over your gear in their own videos, and maybe rolling in b-roll with them. people LOVE gear videos, myself included. im not talking about turning into a 'gear reviews' channel but more so just going over your own stuff, how you use it and little tips you've learned all in their own separate videos. it'll garner a wider audience and increase viewer retention with putting out 10-20 minute 'table talk' like presentations. plus, in theory it should be less time consuming to film and edit so you can increase your overall video catalog.
