This movie messed me up as a kid idk how I watched it but that damn puppet and Mary Shaw ripping out peoples tongues scared tf out of me. The twist was absolutely insane and demented which I love.

I feel like we all need to check in on you. Are you hanging in there okay? Like you, I am extremely arachnophobic, and I also find ventriloquist dummies (and 1950's mannequins) absolutely terrifying. When I saw this reaction pop up, I wondered if this movie might bother you as much as "Arachnophobia" did. You really did a good job sticking this one out, because there are some horrifying visual effects. (James Wan is an absolute master of horror design: this, Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring...) Artistically, the aesthetic of decay in the overall color scheme of the film was awesome, and made the film even creepier. I hope that you treated yourself to something wholesome like "The Little Mermaid" after this, because you earned it.

A personal favorite horror film of mine. I literally loved the clown doll they showed for a moment in a scene in here. So much that I looked everywhere to find a good replica of it online. Until I finally found a place that it was worth over $1,000. Made very sturdy and everything. Also the head piece was made by the same artist that created the clowns from “Clowns from Outer Space.” Even signed by him. He would email me pictures of them creating the doll, showing me how far they are on it. ‘Till this day I take care of that doll because it’s now special to me and it was a lot of money, haha!

Amber Valetta the few models that could act, and make such a interesting "villain". She was also good in revange, different role. Anyway... Dead Silence is not one of those bangers movie, but it was good. specially the twist. I guess it came around the slashers and torture gore was so high, that got a little in background.... Mirrors is also a good movie... Asian original version is a little different from the american one
