I have been in quite a few weather related delays as this jet has encountered and in the terminal. I don't care how long I have to wait as long as we're going to fly safely! I was so grateful the pilots waited until it was safe to fly!!

How we’re you able to keep the camera so steady? Do you use a bracket?

Yeah they throttled up on the runway for a few seconds before releasing the brake. This is typical in snowy conditions to run any ice/snow contamination through the engines.

RON? What is that?
@flapsnslats12 күн бұрын
Stands for “remain over night,” referring to planes that fly from hubs to outstations, spend the night there, and then fly back to the hub early the next morning. RONs are important connectivity feeders in a hub and spoke model.

@@flapsnslats Thanks for clearing that up, it's been many years since I last flew with a major airline.

I like how he says rare. But there were two other planes behind him taking 22 as well.
@flapsnslats11 күн бұрын
Yeah, obviously the other planes were taking off from the same runway. It’s just a very rare direction to begin with. So say, one day a year planes takeoff from that runway. Every plane that day does it. But it only happens one day a year.

I've been deicing planes for 10 year now. The type 4 coverage in that enclosed bucket is insane..
@EASsirenVids0116 күн бұрын
Deicing takes FOREVER at CMH, sometimes you'll have 4 planes lined up and it takes a half hour before deicing begins, but luckily the taxi from the apron where they do the deicing to the runway is quick, unless they're departing RW10L/10R
