I was wondering, I have curly ends to my locs but if I wanted to do this for a change for a couple of weeks, could I? All while regaining my own curly ends after…Love you content btw!

Thank you 🩷 yes you can still keep your curly ends after taking down your extensions. Just make sure when your putting in the extensions braid past your natural curls then tie a knot 1/2 inch past your natural hair. Therefore when your taking it down you can cut the ends and just unravel.

Wow you were able to do it in one day 🤩 that’s determination. I always get distracted and it ends up taking me a week. Yeah I used 2 bundles for my locs ✨.

So I install the better locs hair last September. I have to braid and braid when I wash or the extensions slip out. I’m excited to see a more in depth way of how you attach the locs as your looks so secure

I haven’t tried ywigs water curl but I have tried ygwigs water curl and it’s good hair. I’m not sure if they are the same company or not ✨.

Just make sure when you order hair always get the double drawn hair. So you won’t get the small hairs that come in some bundles

Thank you for the update, all the styles are gorgeous. After seeing your other microlocs video a few months ago I had started putting my hair in microlocs with some curly extensions at the end, and hopefully I’ll finish some day soon lol. And I’m loving your iconic example setting of changing out the extensions whenever you like, to whatever curl texture we fancy at the time, or just rocking our own powerful coiled hair - it all makes me feel more free in my hair expression. Thanks so much for your example and your content, it’s really been helpful for me in changing up from weaves to my natural hair. 🧜🏾♀️❤

READ BEFORE PURCHASING!!! I purchased this exact same hair as provided in the description in 22 inches. I purchased 3 bundles and it was not enough. I ended up having to go to the beauty supply store in the middle of getting my hair done to purchase more hair. The hair Eayon sent also had sooo many short strands. My braiders said there's no way this is 22 inches. Also the hair used can’t be loose wave. The hair I have is basically straight with a little wave. This is false advertisement and the braided clearly used braiding hair. I attempted to do this style with only human hair, NO SYTHETIC braiding hair, and it was a mess. Save your time and just go to the beauty supply store.

I appreciate your feedback but no braiding hair was added to this style. I was sent the hair from this company for this video but I also purchased this hair for other clients. And for me it was the same quality. I can only speak for my experience with this hair.

what do you do for daily/weekly maintenance? do you need to comb the hair as well?

Wrap your hair every day. I suggest splitting the hair done the middle and putting it in a loose twist and tucking it all in your bonnet. Every morning when you wake up. Unravel the twist and finger detangle the hair (separate the curls from the braid). Every 3 days detangle the hair with a brush that has the balls at the end but finish wet the hair down. Add in a moose or light weight leave in conditioner. I like the lotta body mousse.

Hey beautiful! How do you keep your curls from sliding out when you wash your hair? I have about 250 micro locs so they aren't super small and I have the BetterLocs curly bundles in and every few weeks I lose a curl and have to replace it. Just wondering if you have that issue or if the way you tie yours in holds them well. I'm about to do another install with some different hair and want to make sure these stay in a little better. Any advice is appreciated. Love the new video. Thank you! 🌸🪷

Hey!! I remember seeing your locs. They are so beautiful 😍. Do you tie your extensions at the end with a crochet hook? I would say if your locs are thicker maybe try feeding in smaller pieces at the bottom. Instead of putting one thick strand at the end, break the strand up in 3 parts and feed it in at the bottom. I hope that made since. Put it’s normal to lose a curl every month or so just from daily maintenance.

Yes 😊 since I started my loc extension journey almost 2 years ago. It has grown from my ears to my shoulders. Sometimes when I’m cutting out my extensions. I might cut .5 inches of my natural hair. If I didn’t braid past my natural hair when putting in the extensions.

I started adding hair to my mini twist because of your videos that then evolved into me learning how to do Boho braids and at some point this year I would like to install mini braids, but use a curly hair a 3B hair texture, preferably at the bottom of my hair, I think that you have really allowed a technological change in how we do protective styling so I really want to thank you for your content

Both hair held up really good. The raw hair is more maintenance ✨ as far as making sure the hair is detangled every week. With the better locs you can go longer without having to detangle. A lot of people said the raw hair looked really natural in my locs. I would put both hairs back in. If your looking for something that’s not as shiny. Maybe the better locs jewel texture or the raw hair.

Thank You So Much ! 😍 you can put the extensions in right away after putting in your microlocs. The first time I did my locs I wanted 2-3 weeks to put the extensions in. But only because I’m lazy and it’s hard for me to do all those steps without taking a break.
